Im not sure you understand what 'support' means mate

Only singing when your winning is not support
Booing players in the middle of games is not support.

Being a 12th man means doing your job and getting behind the team in difficult moments - that's what makes a difference not booing fucking mistakes - are you serious right now?

Of course they are the cause of the issues but they are being 'amazing' in the face of adversity - they are acting like babies
Absolutely. I don't think some fans realise what a doom spiral is created by never-ending toxic atmospheres. It doesn't drive the players onward - it just drives them away.

it just drives them away.

My van is being serviced and MOT'd today but I will drive Porro away for free if he can wait until tomorrow.

It is seriously like the analogy.

Farmer wakes up in the morning and finds his 15 sheep dead.
He blames the sheep for being dead, rather than the reality of he didn’t build them a protective pen and threw a couple of wolves in there.

Our home fans are like the farmers in this.

Really ought to buy some sand for some of them, so they can continue behaving like ostriches and burying their heads

was excited after the PSG and burnley games, both games were completely different in our setup and was positive stuff, even tho we ultimately failed against PSG, it was a promising start. since then its been the same old shit, its strange, hes been wedded to bentancur in midfield which has caused us huge problems! hes obviously had his hands tied to a degree by not having a proper LB, a keeper who cant kick a ball, and a front line that is absolute toilet, but hes still shown a lack of flexibility and nous. very disappointed, would have expected him to try something different, instead weve watched the same old shit for far too long and its not worked! be brave and try 2 strikers with a beefed up midfield, try something different! watching the same old incompetent shit just turns people off.

Good post mate.

Tomorrow, simply play 4-4-2 or 3-5-2. An aggressive 3-5-2.

Go for it.

The second chart probably helps Frank because they are in 5th by being a better version of the Frank Brentford. Mostly from continuity of system.

It’s basically more evidence that Brentford have a game model built on data and outcomes, and that Andrews has just continued it exactly.

It doesn’t mean that model can translate to finishing where they are in the table, though. It kinda also looks like Andrews might be more effective at coaching the Brentford model but it’s hard to tell how much of Franks struggles with us are because of introducing a new game model.

Okay, my take on it is that if you play for a big club then there is massive expectation and I think the boos are simply exasperation.

And to change that sentiment we need to change the manager, and sell 2 or 3 players who are beginning to be more trouble than they are worth.

Winning the Europa was great. Wouldn't change it for a minute, but in hindsight it seems to have made one or two of the players believe in the image they have created.

They finished 17th, and should work and be worked to the point of exhaustion to make themselves better, and told to keep their fcuking views in check and show greater respect. And stop being played to teach them a lesson.

Other fans don't do it - Man U are a bigger club than us I have never seen their players get boo'd simply for being subbed onto the pitch - and you defending it as if being exasperated is a fine way to treat another human being is pretty weird.

I actually thought that was disgusting along with the booing of Vicario and I don't boo myself other than the Ref

However jeering the team as a whole has been going for years, it is not modern or purely a Spurs thing. I can remember the crowd singing that the players were not fit to wear the shirt along with other great numbers, all during the game.
Only last week Birmingham fans were singing, sideways and backwards, mocking their own team.

Spurs fans are no worse or better than other fans , we are all the same.

I mean, fair enough - lots of football fans are self-entitled cunts that would crumble under a 100th of the pressure professional athletes are under.

Many literally can't even take the pressure of being a fan

United fans boo.

I would not boo our players, but I don't think fans go to games, sacrificing their time, spending their money, sitting in the cold and the joys of travel, at all times of the day and during odd times, to see the same issues that have been present for too long.

It's just short-term release of emotion, not really aimed personally although sometimes targeted, but it would not be this way if we were delivering.

And it's not going to change until it changes.

I watch a lot of football, mate - I don't believe I have heard any other set of fans boo a player for just being subbed on a'la Sanchez

I saw the same thing happen to Justin Edinburgh at WHL 30 years ago.

Spurs supporters are magnificent.

One of the most, supportive, loyal, passionate, patient and forgiving sets of supporters in world football.

We've made cult heroes out of players like Vincent Jansenn, Steffen Freund and Eric Dier.

You need to stop with this re-framing of Spurs supporters as somehow inferior or weird for finally losing patience with the dog shit ENIC and their poodle Daniel Levy dished up for a quarter of a century after Alan Sugar's decade of similar.

Youre saying things which are facts

Im saying this reasoning and these facts are pathetic excuses for acting that way.

And it is, in fact, counterproductive - read the players' own words - it's not helping - booing is not working

try SUPPORTING - not you - but the sad individuals who see it right to verbally abuse other humans because of a game.
