And they don’t post the clubs response? Weird
My reliable sources close to the club tell me that this was the official response from the Senior directors

"Wibble"

Most sense they've ever spoken too

Things are on the up

Well, it’s starting to look like Levy might have been the only one who did actually have some regard ( limited ) for football success.

That there is no club comment / retort or suggestion of real interaction with the THST, is in itself the only evidence we have in regards to how the ownership view the football side of the business.

The no comment stance indicates to me that they are essentially happy to be 17th and everything beyond that is a bonus. Asset stripped and destroyed, ambition now nostalgia.

THST met them and then post the words “A Dramatic fall in ambition”

There should be a fucking riot tomorrow. There won’t be.

RIP Tottenham.

I've a lot to say and I've decided it's probably best said here. I played 5-a-side against a second tier side every week in the mid 90's. We (spurs) were regarded then as a destination club, that is, great wages and minimal effort needed.

In the mid noughties I heard it again, this time with the "we made it club" tag, I had thought that after Poch/Conte/Mourinho etc that this was no more. I haven't had any itk in oh 20 yrs so this isn't an ego massage in any shape, but it seems to me we still have this crappy tag and lazy asshole players associated with it.

I really am now of the opinion that if we don't do a full reset, then we will eventually be relegated (2 -3 yrs) , with a real mess and maybe face yet another relegation fight and have no choice about it (aka pompey).
IMHO we should just say, fuck you to 6-7 off our should be first choice players and basically declare a fire sale. I know that it will hurt and probably even see us a division down, but it's either do it now, or let it take root in our 40 Mil youngsters.

In the meantime, we actually use our youth in the position they are best in, rather than fucking them about as a 10, or across the back four. I'd have recalled Donley and Yang, probably Phillips too, not that I expect miracles, but because we have them from our academy and why the fuck do we pay stupid amounts of money for lower league/foreign prospects that aren't ready yet expect them to perform.

I swear I fucking hate our club at times.

- Sold Johnson, 4 days later, 18 minutes into a game, we lose our other right winger to long term injury (3 month layoff for Kudus)

- 2 wins in 12 PL games

- Romero handed an extra 1 game ban

- Tel wants out of Tottenham

- Dragusin wants out with a move to Roma likely, a week after Takai left to go out on loan. Would Leave us with just Romero, Micky and Danso as our main CBs

- Micky no interest in signing a new contract with the club

- Micky and Porro clashing with diehard away fans

- Paratici on brink of joining Fiorentina

- Matt Wells has left

- Still no factual date of return for Solanke or Kulusevski

- 9 days into the window sat 14th with no signings despite a reported £150m budget not including Johnson money

- Gave Bournemouth their first win after 11 winless games, with Semenyo scoring with his last ever touch of a ball for the club

- Thomas Frank backed by the board and seem to be tolerant of the woeful football and league position. Managers have been sacked for not getting Champions League at us, yet here we are, satisfied because at the moment we havnt dropped into the relegation spots. Thats how low a standard we have now set

I think its safe to say we're in a crisis

It's embarrassing how bad it's gotten. And we are a danger to be relegated if a couple of our top players leave. The club seem incapable of signing genuine star level talent anymore, and incapable of finding coaches that can actually develop young talent. They need to make some more winning moves here soon- the vicious cycle right now is one where their decision making is actively destroying value and net draining money out of the club. They don't spend at all close to enough to make up for their mistakes.

I agree- time to sell up- before they lose any more value on their asset.

It would be quite lovely if all those people who, for years, personally attacked and villified me (and others) for exposing ENIC for what they are would come forward and apologise.

I know it takes courage and strength of character to do so

They know who they are. Are they men, or are they mice 🐁

The club’s silence is deafening.

Are they ignoring things? Having a power struggle? Or paralysed with indecision.

Strong leadership is required but its heads in the sand from upstairs.

The free badge for season ticket holders is really going to mend the supporters/club relationship. A bit of cheap metal is really what the situation needs.

The issue is they stay silent as they know they have mismanaged the situation completely. They ended last season firing the first manager to win us meaningful Silverware in ages and now look at the situation? Our season prospects are terrible. With the way Liverpool are bottling this season it could have been a real chance for us if they showed any ambition. But they dont care about the football aspect just making money.

The real heartbreak here is the real risk of seeing Woolwich win what could have been a season for us. I hate ENIC with a passion now. They have ruined this club yet again.

We are in more trouble than I than people think
I follow someone on social media who is still convinced we are a top side
I now just observe what he says, because I’m now sure he is just trying to wind people up , which I know that is social media in a nutshell

I appologize on behalf of all of the mice who wont come forward.
