I’m not defending Levy, I’m questioning why you think anything is really going to change when ENIC is still in place as if they haven’t had any input in what was come before!

I think there's a big difference between ENIC having no interest or input, and Joe Lewis & Family actively suffocating it financially. Collecott has been the 'finance guy' for ENIC and the club since day 0. He's still here.

As per the website:

Matthew Collecott is also Group Operations and Finance Director of ENIC having joined the group in 1998. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and worked for Price Waterhouse in Europe and Africa before joining ENIC, overseeing investments across the sports, entertainment and media group, specifically with Slavia Prague, AEK Athens and Vicenza Calcio. He is also Executive Director of a number of private property ventures. He is also a Trustee of the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation

He is basically the one controlling the club finances not just for the club, but for Joe Lewis overall. Wouldn't surprise me if he was there to keep Levy in check with the initial money given to him in the early days of ENIC.

He's right mate you have simply swallowed their PR. They are bullshitters. Daniel was in charge operationally of the club with full support of the Lewis's they loved what he did. He maximised the family investment till it was worth billions spending minimally on all but the infrastructure.

What happen was the primary owner the 'big Lewis' got old and Daniel got ideas above his station he wanted to inherit and the Lewis kids violently objected to him scheming to make that a possibility. They threw him out and to get the fans on side fed the narrative Levy was acting without consent all the time on paying for players. There's no contradiction here they are not riding to the rescue just seeing off an equally tight cousin.

They were not at all hands on that was why I said he was operationally in charge. They are all cunt chops. They had hands on busy patting him on the back. Him the operation them and him strategically aligned. There's no contradiction they were not letting Levy just penny pinch against their will, they backed his BS. Voting through his every pay rise and bonus think about it. Like when MPs say "Im against this cut it will effect my poorest constituteants" then vote with the government.

Kulusevski will do well to return to anywhere like previous levels, if indeed he returns to top flight football at all.
