The more I think about it the more I think they’ll keep him until the summer. Then Poch (or maybe someone else) and not change anything else. Strategy, wage structure, nothing.

IMHO until ENIC are gone we will be in this doom loop every season.
Id get klinsmann in till end of season as interim.
Thing is, they've effectively given Frank 6 months... And it's not just not working, there's not even an indication it might...
So if effect, he's had an interim period of time, and can go while there's still SOME element of the season to salvage (League positions only I mean)

If they got in someone LIKE Klinsmann, or even a Robbie Keane/Redknapp 'dream team' until the Summer, they would still have the same amount of time Frank has had, and if it gets us somewhere, great... But if not, then they know it's only temporary until the Summer, when (I assume) the club will go crawling back to Poch!

The feel good factor alone that would bring us worth the compensation they'd have to pay Frank off with.. And might even benefit us with the new new manager bounce for once!

I agree. I just think if he isn't sacked now, he won't be sacked until the end of the season. They might even give him a second season.

If he doesn't get sacked for all these defeats over Xmas, 2 wins in 13. Out of all the doemstic cups, they won't sack him for losing to Woolwich and City in Feb etc

I’m sure we’ll see a pitch invasions, if this happens 😂
But yeah, it’s just lunacy at this point.
A bit like Amorim, who ended up getting sacked for his comments, rather than performances.

Media beginning to turn

I see he also mentions that Frank doesn't seem himself. The sparkle and enthusiasm has gone for sure.

I said it earlier, he looks utterly broken. The job is too big for him.

It's just not worked out. He's the wrong man, for the wrong club at the wrong time.

I just want to see the club take control of the situation and be proactive and sack him. None of this shit about people avoiding making decisions, that is the last thing we need.

I worry that sacking him will just make things worse in the short/medium term. I could be wrong but I think there's stuff he can do postiviely for the CLub as we rebuild and resturcture ahead of a new Vuscovic led revival under a progressive, young manager for 26/27.

League's done. Cups are done. Now we can focus on the future. An interim might get in the way of that, I fear.

Frank is one of those managers like moyes, dyche etc that will and should be only managing mid table teams who are happy to just stay in the league. We made a mistake and the board should accept that and move on rather quickly.

Media beginning to turn

All spurs media turned against him a while ago. Gold. Jack Pitt brooke, Jay Harris, Tom Allnut Tom Barclay etc are all saying no point continuing with him. The other non spurs media are just playing catch up.
The main one is fans, he's lost home & away fans and results remain shite so he's gone. Whether it's next week or sometime in February with that run we have, he's gone and we can try and forget about this like we have with Nuno. Jose & most of conte

I think some of the discontent would be dealt with by Vinai or someone above him coming out and being straight. Lange said he wants us to become the premier destination for young players.

Just come out and say it clearly. We want to have a top team in a couple of years and it will be a rocky road but we believe we will compete sustainably in a couple of years. Hang in there.

But the silence makes it look like ineptitude (which it might be).
Very well said. Leaving the manager to field all media questions might be the way most teams do it, but that doesn't mean it is an effective way to convince fans you're heading in the right direction. Spurs also should demonstrate they are serious about doing what they can to save this season by getting impactful transfers in earlier in the window.

He looks and sounds absolutely defeated.

Hard to be enthusiastic with the season all but over tonight, he just looks like he's had enough.

I actually feel sorry for him. But don't get me wrong, I want him gone and I'm not happy at all with him.

But I feel for him on a personal level as he is a nice guy, finally got a shot at a bigger club and he fucked it. But he isn't the first and he won't be the last who fail at a big club, in fact most managers fail.

I like Frank, but I don't like him as manager of my club. I liked him from afar at Brentford as a person, but as a manager he never stood out for me.

I don't like his tactics, and I don't think his personality fits with a bigger club. Maybe it's easier for me to say that when you are losing, for example Arteta has an awful personality, but he gets away with it because he wins most weeks. But regardless of how Arteta comes across, the fact is he has his squad performing at 110% almost every week, whereas Frank isn't doing that with our squad. He doesn't even look close to doing it. There aren't even green shoots to try and rally behind.

nobody can sit there and say he's getting anywhere near the best out of these players.

The performances really have been so so bad. I honestly think he is totally out of ideas. He picks a different team every week, there's no consistency, yes injuries haven't helped him but all PL manager's suffer injuries.

It's just a matter of when they decide to put him out of his misery now. I hope he takes a break, I am sure he will get another PL job at a lower half side.

Can it get any worse?
