Whole squad needs gutting, and I mean gutting. I'd keep bergvall, vdv, sarr, Kudus and bring palinha in if possible. The rest are up for sale, they all have bad attitudes, are always injured so can't be relied on, or just not good enough. Obviously we can't do that, but the rot is so set in its genuinely going to take years to sort out at this point.

But Frank has to go. He doesn't have the respect of the players, the fans have turned. His football has been atrocious for 90% of the time, he's not going to turn it around.

It’s just a matter of time now …..
same shit against the Spammers and he has to go. Even a drab 1-0 wont save him - at least you'd think that would be the case...

Problem is, the heads at the top seemingly dont have a clue what to do at this point. Furthermore, who is available? The pie in the sky say Redknapp or Carrick - one is past it and the other isnt proven.

Its Frank till the end of the season and i think we have to get used to it. Once were out of the Champions League and we have 1 game a week, we'll hopefully see improvements...but that is more damning.

Rotten from top to bottom, with the tiniest glimmers of hope here and there.

Tragic really.

'We need to build on this success' quotes from the club after Bilbao... what a farce

He's not done well but we're going to finish bottom half in back to back seasons. The squad is abysmal. I don't think anything changes with a managerial change, especially a forced and unplanned one. They'll just replace him with someone even worse.

If we win the Spam game I don't think he will be sacked and reiterate it looks like he will be allowed to bumble his way until the end of season and I also suspect there are those (not me) among us wishing we lose the game in order to get rid.

This is all the same sort of stuff that was being said about Levy never being removed.

Frank is already sacked.

The corpse of Frank is now standing in the technical area for every game.

The players yesterday abandoned Frank's instructions in an attempt to salvage a game they clearly wanted to win but Frank was too scared to lose.

The only reason Frank is still in the technical area is because of how much it is going to cost ENIC to pay for Levy's final act of stupidity.

Russian roulette with West Ham and Burnley is not a game ENIC can afford to play with the February fixtures on the horizon.

Spurs need 6 points from these games to prevent this season getting any worse for them.

Frank will not get 6 points from these games.

We know it and ENIC know it.

ENIC are also not selling tickets for the meaningless games between now and the end of this season with Frank at the wheel.

I don't believe a word of it, they're all cunts

Can prompt a bit of conversation, which I like

And the whole thing just fascinates me if I'm honest, what's going on in this guy's head?!

Is there anyone who thinks he won't/shouldn't be sacked?
Entitled to your opinion.

I'd definitely give him the next three at least. 2 wins and a draw in CL and that would show me enough that we've starting turning the ship around.

But then I've explained many times that I'm very conservative when it comes to sacking managers. I don't really expect my view to hold much sway.

But if Nuno, Mourinho, Conte, Postecoglou, and now Frank are all suffering the same thing, how is primarily the manager?

You have players and fans saying the last manager was loved by the players, but yet you still had the same league performances.

We can't just look at it like a new manager is going to magically make us into a title-challenging club with a Temu squad pretending to be gucci but playing like primark
At some point, we need to appoint someone to undertake a mass clean out of the squad and completely rebuild. Other than Bergvall, Gray, Xavi, VdV, Kudus, and maybe Tel, everyone needs to go. That isn't going to be accomplished in one or two transfer windows.

Yet it'll never happen if we keep sacking managers because they don't immediately have us challenging for Europe. While we keep appointing a new manager every year, the deadwood stays, and the squad becomes even more frankenstein with nothing but club purchases. That will eventually lead us to relegation with how competitive the league has become.

Say Frank is sacked tomorrow and we appoint a """longterm""" replacement like Xavi or Terzic. Maybe they get us playing better, maybe they don't. But if they dont - which is highly likely given the terrible state of the squad - the same people calling for Frank to be sacked will be calling for Xavi/Terzic to be sacked in October. Then the cycle just repeats itself.

If we want to be anything more than a midtable or lower club that once punched above our weight because we had Son and Kane, at some point, we're going to have to stick with someone and accept the first year is going to be shit as he rebuilds the squad.
