Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think the Gallagher hates Spurs thing is probably a bit overblown. I reckon he was so dead against it before cos he would've been coming directly from Chelsea and would've been labelled a Judas by their fans.

Now he's spent a couple of years away it's more akin to us signing Parker or Gallas. I reckon if he chooses Villa over us it would be mainly for footballing reasons rather than cos he hates Tottenham.

Reckon most players don't really care if they money's right and the location is decent, etc.
Right now he could choose Brentford over us gor footballing reasons , sad days

Maddison wrote loads of tweets about Spurs being shite but he's Mr Tottenham now. They are professionals and competitors at the end of the day

No it's not and we're not losing the next 2, relax.
If we lost the next 2 and West Ham won at home to Sunderland as well as beating us then the gap would be 7 points and they’d have their tails up whilst we’re at historic lows - it is absolutely a possibility if we lose both

We shouldn’t lose the next 2, but I won’t relax until that comes to pass because at the moment we are atrocious over 90 mins.

We're not losing against West Ham or Burnley, we're shit but they are shittier, stop doom mongering and even if we did neither of these teams are good enough to put together a run to overtake us, there's a reason why their collective points tallies equal up to ours so far, they've won 3 games out of 21 for God's sake, they're not suddenly going to become Barcelona overnight.

Maybe we aren't signing anyone due to Frank being on his way out.

Or we are lazy and cheapskates as usual.

Well, with Johnson sold and Bentencur and Kudus likely out for the season, that's 3 champions league spots.

Kulu unlikely to be back this season , and dragusin leaving.

So Tel takes one spot, with 2 up for grabs - so Spurs can offer champions league football to incoming players.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Spurs loan someone from a larger club who has fallen out of favor ala Kolo. Cheeky enquiry for Salah ;-)

Lose the next two and it’s a real possibility

While that may be mathematically true, you have:

TeamPlayedPoints
Palace2128
Spurs2127
Bournemouth2126
Leeds2122
Forest2121
West Ham2114
Burnley2113
Wolves217

To even get to match our current points total, Burnley would need 14 points from the next 17 games. That's more than double what they've had from 21. Wolves would need 20 points from their last 17.
West Ham would need to double their 21 game points haul in the last 17.

Even if West Ham beat us, that's still Forest and Leeds needing an uptick in form.

30 points is probably safe from relegation this season

(note that people have quite liked the managers from the teams either side of us)

When we did West Ham 4-3 at Upton Park with Staltieri scoring in the last seconds, West Ham were 10 points adrift with 10 games to go - they then won 7 of their next 9 and got the result at Old Trafford that kept them up.

If we can’t win these 2 games then who can we beat?

Stop burying your head in the sand - we’re really shit

sad baby GIF
Thanks for confirming my comment.

Leeds are in better form than us and have come through their toughest period of the season on paper playing all the top sides - their run in isn’t bad at all.

Forest would need an uptick, but it’s 6 points and we’ve lost the last 3 times we’ve played them.

I don’t think we will get relegated but we can’t just write it off if we lose the next 2 as it will then be difficult to see where the points will come from
