If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...I still can't tell you what Frank is trying to do.
Setting us up as a punching bag each match regardless of who we play can't be a strategy.

They haven’t got the balls big enough unfortunately! They need to get off the pot. Stop going on about ambition, go and lay the money down for Alonso and tell him he's got £250m to spend now and summer plus anything he makes on player sales. Get a DoF he wants or who he can work with. Start selling some of this utter shit.
I think someone said it earlier, that's why they brought Heitinga in.I understand the feeling of some that the team is absolutely awful, so what is sacking another manager going to do?
But there needs to be a line drawn in the sand after a certain point. A message to the players that are here and any prospective people we want to bring here.. That we don't accept this level, and this not where we think we belong. You can't be this poor and wake up tomorrow, with business as usual. Because if you just sleepwalk and let this become the norm (which it's threatening to do so considering it's been 14 months of atrocious league performances).. Then this becomes what we are, rather than a temporary drop off.
It can be true that the players are at fault AND the manager is shit.I understand the feeling of some that the team is absolutely awful, so what is sacking another manager going to do?

1 pt from Sunderland, West Ham at home and Bournemouth away with a home FA cup defeat in the middle. Season absolutely toast bar a possible relegation fight. Come on.
I'm pretty sure that atrocity started with that horrendous game against Chavs. Which means it's 2 years and 2 months, IIRC.I understand the feeling of some that the team is absolutely awful, so what is sacking another manager going to do?

Actually might make it a bit exciting if we got into a relegation fight1 pt from Sunderland, West Ham at home and Bournemouth away with a home FA cup defeat in the middle. Season absolutely toast bar a possible relegation fight. Come on.
Since that loss at home to West Ham in the league we were absolutely dogshit terrible in the league for 18 months.
United had good players waiting for a better manager. Do we? I am not sure.
Hey, a relegation fight against Spam could be our cup final!1 pt from Sunderland, West Ham at home and Bournemouth away with a home FA cup defeat in the middle. Season absolutely toast bar a possible relegation fight. Come on.

Stop pretending. Move on.
Frank has been no better than Ange. Terrible.

What is that even supposed to mean?!
I'm hoping, optimistic I know, that the board have taken stock of Uniteds situation and how quick an impact Carrick has had.
Frank has to be sacked, it's unforgivable if he survives this.
When Bournemouth beat us at the start of the season I felt uncomfortable with it. Not the loss but the performance - it was lifeless, a nothing sort of football.
I put it down to early days but it was bugging me.
Nothing has changed apart from we look even worse.
But the Chelsea home game was an utter disgrace.
We might not have the best squad, but putting up a fight in front of your home fans (who pay big money) is the least we should expect
