I understand the feeling of some that the team is absolutely awful, so what is sacking another manager going to do?

But there needs to be a line drawn in the sand after a certain point. A message to the players that are here and any prospective people we want to bring here.. That we don't accept this level, and this not where we think we belong. You can't be this poor and wake up tomorrow, with business as usual. Because if you just sleepwalk and let this become the norm (which it's threatening to do so considering it's been 14 months of atrocious league performances).. Then this becomes what we are, rather than a temporary drop off.
I think someone said it earlier, that's why they brought Heitinga in.

It can be true that the players are at fault AND the manager is shit.

Many of these players have shown that they can perform. Here and elsewhere. If they are phoning it in, it’s still on the manager to fix. Fucking drop them.

I'm pretty sure that atrocity started with that horrendous game against Chavs. Which means it's 2 years and 2 months, IIRC.

Rot has well and truly set in.

I'm hoping, optimistic I know, that the board have taken stock of Uniteds situation and how quick an impact Carrick has had.

Frank has to be sacked, it's unforgivable if he survives this.

When Bournemouth beat us at the start of the season I felt uncomfortable with it. Not the loss but the performance - it was lifeless, a nothing sort of football.

I put it down to early days but it was bugging me.

Nothing has changed apart from we look even worse.

But the Chelsea home game was an utter disgrace.

We might not have the best squad, but putting up a fight in front of your home fans (who pay big money) is the least we should expect

1 pt from Sunderland, West Ham at home and Bournemouth away with a home FA cup defeat in the middle. Season absolutely toast bar a possible relegation fight. Come on.

The board recruited Frank for sound reason. Only in hindsight did I see the risk, mostly because pf winning the Europa and what that meant in terms of the voice the players needed to hear

Yhe board have already waited 4 games too long. More delay and who knows what can happen.

Nothing is off the table of possibility..

I think United's situation is a bit different, but I do think a new manager, for example either drops Muani full-stop or is able to get more from him.
