If he's still here for the Dortmund game, he's here for the season in my view.

Agreed, but I would add the caveat that in terms of recruitment- Frank was backed far more than most of his predecessors.100% both things may be true. I think that pragmatism (and let's be honest, this was Conte and Mourinho, too) can be either positive - let's go and try to play the 'best' football (Poch with Winks, Sissoko, Trippier vs Walker, Dele's brother) - or negative - let's not give away silly goals, sit back, try and play safe passes and get the ball into the opposition box as quickly and safely as possible (long throws, long balls).
One we prefer to have in our club, one we don't. I think they're both results of the same poor standard of squad. The issue we have rn is that moving the ball quickly forward leaves us with no-one who can hold it up or score. FWIW, Son would also have failed as he never had the physical presence for this ugly football.
If we change manager, we need one that will appease the fans by trying to make the most of the faulty components and play actual football - but we also need to be well-and-truly aware that we won't suddenly be able to pass to our own team, or run any faster, or move into space because that is who these players are right now.
Hopefully, next manager will be more in line with what we hope and gets better backing from the board.
Sadly, we have the rest of this season to endure - whatever happens.

On paper - Kudus, Simons, Pahlinha and Kolo Muani is one of the strongest windows we should have had.
On a personal level I had massive reservations on 3/4 of them, but still, 2 of them had prem experience, they had an average age of 25-26 and all of them have at least 30 international caps. When was the last time that we did that?
I’m not expecting a Pochettino to magically transform certain players. I’m expecting him to similar to what he did before. Set a positive tone. See who fits, who doesn’t. Dip into the academy to attempt to find a solutions. Intergrate some of the young players we’ve sent out on loan. And most importantly, have the right idea of the style of player he needs.
Unlike Frank, Pochettino acknowledges that passing through the middle of the pitch is needed for a start. He also wouldn’t leave Porro on an Island defensively (Sissoko/Tripper).
Nobody is pretending the squad is great, and the use that logical fallacy is seriously annoying me.
100%!This is the most worrying thing about the whole situation. How can you have a search as “thorough” as this and get it - not just wrong - they probably can’t have done any worse.
I’ve got no faith that they’ll time the frank sacking right, or make the right appointment next. Vinai is good at one thing though - corporate bollocks.
Should have sacked him 3 weeks ago and got Martin O’Neill as interim until the end of the season before he went back to Celtic. Genuinely don’t see another win for a long time. We’re in a relegation fight and nothing else. I’d take 17th again right now.
Shame on Vinai, Shame on Lange, Shame on the Lewis’s. It’s a disgrace he is still currently our manager.
We’re getting dragged towards that bottom 3 and these pricks are rearranging the chairs on the titanic - fucking gimps
Was there a lot of verbals between him and Romero towards end of game??
Romeros form is very patchy, same way it was under contes second season and it was said if conte stayed Romero would leave.
Does look like he's lost Romero and you can't afford to lose your captain
He was bought in to address that but has made it even worse.I think someone said it earlier, that's why they brought Heitinga in.
My fear there is if we go down they will keep him as the best man to get us back upOur home form is so bad we deserve to be relegated.
Might be the best thing for us. To get these cunts out of the Club.
But make no mistake if they keep Frank and we go down its 100% the boards fault.
My fear there is if we go down they will keep him as the best man to get us back up
If we get smoked 5-0 against Woolwich then they might consider a change but………….If he's still here for the Dortmund game, he's here for the season in my view.

If that's the case, fair. Chasing a game and Danso is a sub you go to? Jesus wept.Romero looked like he either refused to be subbed off or refused to let someone else be subbed, as Danso was ready to come on and after Romero screamed at Frank Danso was told to sit back down.
He's too weak. Saw that after Romeros comments after Bournemouth, whatever you think of them, it shouldnt have just been a nice chat and let him off. Frank and Lange just have no authority about them at all and players know this and take the pissRomero looked like he either refused to be subbed off or refused to let someone else be subbed, as Danso was ready to come on and after Romero screamed at Frank Danso was told to sit back down.
AGREED.
Frank must get sacked immediately. Not one game more. His continued presence is crushing us.
We have become the embodiment of the next game. Postecoglou and now Frank.
Fcuk that shit.
It's way past the point of no return.
And all 30 of hi back room team with their iPads, clipboards and such. All starting at that and talking to each other instead of concentrating on the shit out there. With all that analysis on the touchline how comes they can’t make quick decisions to change the game. Why sometimes it takes till half time to get the players to play with more urgency in 2nd half. Surely it should be easy enough to tell from touchline to pass quicker, run more etc. all stealing a living I’d love a job like that!Get the fucking fraud out of our club a total and utter embarrassment
It’s a midtable squad at the very worst. He’s largely had a defensive stability that wasn’t there last season.
