To my mind, we’ve played about 4 matches where we’ve played decent~good footy for about 50% of it a Burnley, Copenhagen, Brentford (H), and now Dortmund. He didn’t start any of them.
Bit harsh on Kudus, he’s more like Adama Traore. One outstanding skill that people relate to the position he plays.
That wasn’t a good half to me, it was desperate and chaotic. What about the 50pc vs Villa where he was the best player on the park?
You’re being biased tbf
Almost any player can have a good game every now and then. Means nada. What about the 50pc vs Villa where he was the best player on the park?

ok, whatever. We won the second half of that game, and I'd say we showed character and balls needed to get anywhere against a strong opponent. JP is the second highest rated player this season by this Board. That wasn’t a good half to me, it was desperate and chaotic.
He wasn’t the best IMO, Xavi was..
Yes I am biased. I’m biased against shit footballers.

Almost everybody here suffers from confirmation bias.ok, whatever. We won the second half of that game, and I'd say we showed character and balls needed to get anywhere against a strong opponent. JP is the second highest rated player this season by this Board.
He scored 5 goals and has the most successful tackles in the league. When Sarge played he would misplace passes but would win the ball back and we would counter very effectively. He's a scored a few goals, so? Doesn't change the fact he's shite. Richy has scored a few goals, also shite.
He'll be going back to Munich in the summer and move. To Fulham for half what our agreed fee is.
The goals are an anomaly. I remember Solomon scoring a few goals for Fulham on a row and he's fucking dog shit. Already went over the tackles, something his liabilities as a player contribute to. He's crap on the ball, passes or back, bottom 10th percentile for progressive passes, dribbles made and possessions per 90 is like 20th. With him in the side, we can't control possession in midfield, hoof the ball up, straight back to us. Leaves so much space between him , our 8 and 10. So we get slaughtered down the middle. Tackles are like stepovers for Kudus, they look good, the rest of their games are lacking. He scored 5 goals and has the most successful tackles in the league. When Sarge played he would misplace passes but would win the ball back and we would counter very effectively.
TF imo has an opportunity with a player like JP to play more attacking football because of the defensive contribution he brings. Now when JP wins the ball back we often just play a u shape and pass sideways and backwards to keep possession. He’s a very good player but is hampered by our setup.
That's a damning indictment. 90% of this form called me a spoilt brat, retarded, an idiot, nonce, etc etc for saying Frank was shite and out of his element. You even made a very dismissive, confident bet with me, which you keep ducking on the matter.JP is the second highest rated player this season by this Board.
99.99% of professional footballers don’t get bought by teams like Bayern in the first place.
Is it possible that you can get through a single day without calling an athlete playing close to the top of the his profession ‘shit’, ‘dog shit’ or ‘fucking dog shit’?
Okay, he got the chance to play for them. They realised what is really fucking obvious, cut ties ASAP, hoping to get back half what they paid.99.99% of professional footballers don’t get bought by teams like Bayern in the first place.
There’s probably no more than two guys at the club IF ANY that would interest Bayern.

Rhetorical.

Is that better?
Ah get off your high horse. You've never called a player shit in your life? People overrating him is just absurd. Name one top side that has a player with his exact skill set in their side. To my mind I can come up with absolutely zero.
He might've been a good player 10 years ago, but in this age with system football and even goal keepers having to be great with the ball, having someone in the most important area of the pitch who's not a great footballer just doesn't work.
I'm saying a player scoring a couple of goals doesn't make a difference. Especially when it's not their job. A nice bonus, but not his job. I'll judge him on what's expected of him, which as of now, is not good enough and very obvious that he'll be playing his trade elsewhere next season. No, dude, I don’t call players shit or fucking shit.
I’ve probably said a team plays like shit a couple of times but that’s it.
BTW, you were describing Manor Solomon and not JP. You use the term so frequently that you can’t even figure out who it’s applied to ‘cos ‘everyone is shit’.
Nah, the athletic and smarter Brits I know actually have a little respect for people who perform at this level— especially those that have played at a decent level or know pro athletes. How very American of you. We call players shit, managers shit, owners shit, coaches shit, scouts shit. That's our football culture.
I'm not a paid journalist. I'm also not a Brit, praise be.Nah, the athletic and smarter Brits I know actually have a little respect for people who perform at this level— especially those that have played at a decent level or know pro athletes.
It’s generally the mouth breathers who are different.
Disingenuous bullshit. No one said it wasn’t.
Well, mi amigo. I'll not lose any sleep over it. Mute me if you wish, but you'll have about two people left here if you go down that merry road. But all good bud, I just took a 25mg gummy and I don't have the energy for a fight. You're a good dude, sure I'll chat with you againDisingenuous bullshit. No one said it wasn’t.
Calling something shit isn’t exactly critiquing.
If it was, we would all be working for SI or The Athletic.
