De Zerbi sacked yesterday for losing 5-0, but please no, not another like-for-like desperation appointment based solely on being an opportunistic time.

Please ENIC, do your homework this time and find someone who is suited to the role.

Bit of a mandela effect, but I was almost certain he quit when they went out of the CL. link

Confused about that. I assume it wasn't official, but losing 5-0 sounds about right for a guy that had given up a few weeks ago

I just recall none of us seriously thinking he'd be given the job long term, but having mild concern the club might be tempted to.

Then after that Chelsea game there was no way he was going to last beyond the summer.

Still, we'll always have the gilet fan banter to remember the good times:

Funny though how differently his "wake up" speech is treated versus the Conte rant that, according to conte, wasn't even about the board itself

If it's possible, a pre-contract with Poch announced at the same time as the interim would be ideal.

Give the fans a lift (I mean, the Frank sacking has already done that a little bit, but still) and I think it'd make it easier to completely back the interim while they try and lead us out the shit/to CL glory. Take the uncertainty out of it.

Ole is good shout.
Only the very strong Utd connection counts against him. He is very likeable
Sherwood is a better choice than Mason or Heitanga - but he is not a good choice

is Poch signing that whilst we are in threat of the drop?
