Football changed is a Common misconception IMO.
It's a simple game complicated by people.
It's a lot to do with motivation and getting the players on board

Mate, the way the players train - the things we don't see behind the scenes - the way to motivate the players -it is a different world completely to when Redknapp was managing.

Yeah it's doing the players wonders 🤣
Only have to breathe on them and they get injured nowadays.
It's not like someone like Rednapp would come without more modern coaches anyway. It's more about giving the players confidence and freedom to go and play which is what we need right now

What modern coaches?

Sorry mate, i don't understand what kind of setup youre suggesting here?

Just bring Harry in as a bit of a motivational speaker and confidence booster?

He’s a despicable cunt, but sometimes you need to separate the art from the artist.
De Zerbi would be an absolutely shocking hire.

Take personal bias against him aside, we are coming off the backs of firing arguably the two least likable managers Spurs have had in several decades. The absolute last thing we should be bringing into a relegation battle is a manager who has publicly backed a person who “allegedly” committed incredibly heinous acts and only got away with it because he has a significant load of money.

A very large portion of the fan base would have knives out for him before he’s stepped foot in the stadium. We cannot have a toxic atmosphere off the jump for the next manager while trying to survive.

The modern coaches we already have heitinga, Cochrane and all the others we appointed in June.
Do you think all managers take every training session?
Ange didn't buy all accounts and neither did Harry back in the day or Fergie.
Look obviously in the long term it wouldn't work but for 15 games it might just boost the players enough to get us out of trouble

Weird that we don’t know how many have been sacked

The guy is almost 80 years old and struggles to stay awake longer than 10 mins when interviewed. Not a single modern player will get motivated day in day out by a parody like Harry on the training field.

Some idiots at X calling for bringing Ange back. State of some supporters....
Gay GIF

He's been bitching about lack of backing from the board, about the players not being willing to sacrifice enough and such for more or less his entire tenure. Whilst also being a bit of a slave driver in training. Budget Conte behaviour.

Not to mention his continued defending of Mason Greenwood and how he has "suffered enough".

Fair enough!

I’d forgotten about Greenwood

Better go for Gattuso then!!

De Zerbi is the adrenaline shot in terms of personality and style of play we need to try to stay up. I don’t give a fuck if it ends in tears in 12 months, we need to stay up.

If it’s Heitinga or Mason we are down.

Spot on, actually mental people scoffing at De Zerbi and then clamouring for Poch. If we decide to wait for Poch and hire an interim who doesn't work out, we are going to be relegated.

The absolute priority should be on hiring the best manager we can right now, and that is De Zerbi or any other top manager who is happy to join us now.

I honestly don’t think that will factor into our relegation battle.

Hiring Mason or Heitinga as interim coach brings us down.

De Zerbi gives us a complete change of style, a complete change of attitude. Regardless of me or yours feelings about the guy personally I can’t think of a better fit for where we are. Not that he guarantees safety because no one does currently, but his style of play will be appreciated by the players after so long playing abject shite under Frank.

The fans will like him if he wins games and gets us playing good football. It’s shit, but it’s true. I agree the guy is a cunt, I strongly disagree with how he protected and lauded greenwood, but from a technical perspective I can’t think of anyone better right now.
