Dyche sacked

Forest are going down

If between Forest or West Ham

GIF by Giphy QA

West Ham remaining fixtures:

Bournemouth (h)
Liverpool (a)
Fulham (a)
Man City (h)
Aston Villa (a)
Wolves (h)
Crystal Palace (a)
Everton (h)
Brentford (a)
Woolwich (h)
Newcastle (a)
Leeds (h)

The question with them is can they keep up any kind of run of form or is this a flash kn the pan?

Their next 5 games pretty tough and last 4 games look iffy.

They've got a better run of fixtures than Forest. I think they'll probably stay up tbh - they seem to have genuine momentum and are looking decent. Might actually be quite a high point requirement to survive. Could see it being high 30s, maybe even low 40s.

Leeds remaining fixtures:

Aston Villa (a)
Man City (h)
Sunderland (h)
Crystal Palace (a)
Brentford (h)
Man Utd (a)
Wolves (h)
Bournemouth (a)
Burnley (h)
Tottenham (a)

We really need Villa and City to give them a tonking in the next 2 games they have.

Decent chances all over for them as well. Strap yourselves in guys, got a bumpy olf ride ahead.

For unclear reasons, the model has shuffled its relegation chance calculations again today. All clubs with an estimated > 1% chance

Palace 1.16%
Spurs 3.58%
Leeds 4.20%
Forest 19.32%
Spam 71.61%

Last updated 5 hours ago, so would incorporate the Frank news but not the Dyche news.

That’s decided it I think, Forest are gone, which will back up how nonsense those stats models are.

They are hiring the guy who couldn’t win all season with Wolves - it’s a classic relegation move and they won’t get a bounce.

Spurs and West Ham very lucky.

I’m so confident we don’t go now you can close the thread

Pereira isn't that bad. He did a decent job with Wolves last season when they were down in the mire and their form massively improved when he took over. They they sold their 2 remaining top class players and replaced them with rubbish, when the squad was already crap.

In the first part of this season Wolves' stats weren't actually that bad. They just have a really shit squad so no-one could put the ball in the back of the net.

I don't think he's a great manager by any means, but I can definitely see him doing better than Dyche who's did a surprisingly awful job there given the players at his disposal. Their squad is easily mid-table and shouldn't be in a relegation dog-fight - it's miles better than the Wolves squad he was working with.

Their run in is bad but I think your confidence is misplaced and they'll still be in the mix to stay up.

4 managers in a season - the players aren’t going to know what they are supposed to be doing. Why are they going to be inspired by this guy when they weren’t by the 3 before him.

As for bounces - they got a shit bounce when Ange was appointed, losing virtually every game.

It’s great for us, I’m just annoyed it keeps West Ham up.

That's hope talking mate.

If we had done the right and for many, obvious thing at the end of December, since when things have worsened, we wouldn't be in this mess.

1 team out of 5 or 6 still possible, and we are one of that number, in my opinion.
