New manager bounce working already!
Dyche sacked
They've got a better run of fixtures than Forest. I think they'll probably stay up tbh - they seem to have genuine momentum and are looking decent. Might actually be quite a high point requirement to survive. Could see it being high 30s, maybe even low 40s.West Ham remaining fixtures:
Bournemouth (h)
Liverpool (a)
Fulham (a)
Man City (h)
Aston Villa (a)
Wolves (h)
Crystal Palace (a)
Everton (h)
Brentford (a)
Woolwich (h)
Newcastle (a)
Leeds (h)
The question with them is can they keep up any kind of run of form or is this a flash kn the pan?
Their next 5 games pretty tough and last 4 games look iffy.
Liverpool (h)
Brighton (a)
Man City (h)
Fulham (h)
Tottenham (a)
Aston Villa (h)
Burnley (h)
Sunderland (a)
Chelsea (a)
Newcastle (h)
Man U (a)
Bournemouth (h)
A lot of hard work for them to get done out of that lot.
But it does include Forest dropping two points and Palace losing. For unclear reasons, the model has shuffled its relegation chance calculations again today. All clubs with an estimated > 1% chance
Palace 1.16%
Spurs 3.58%
Leeds 4.20%
Forest 19.32%
Spam 71.61%
Last updated 5 hours ago, so would incorporate the Frank news but not the Dyche news.
Pereira isn't that bad. He did a decent job with Wolves last season when they were down in the mire and their form massively improved when he took over. They they sold their 2 remaining top class players and replaced them with rubbish, when the squad was already crap. That’s decided it I think, Forest are gone, which will back up how nonsense those stats models are.
They are hiring the guy who couldn’t win all season with Wolves - it’s a classic relegation move and they won’t get a bounce.
Spurs and West Ham very lucky.
I’m so confident we don’t go now you can close the thread

4 managers in a season - the players aren’t going to know what they are supposed to be doing. Why are they going to be inspired by this guy when they weren’t by the 3 before him. That’s decided it I think, Forest are gone, which will back up how nonsense those stats models are.

As for bounces - they got a shit bounce when Ange was appointed, losing virtually every game.
It’s great for us, I’m just annoyed it keeps West Ham up.
