Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Hes played 121 games in 2.5 seasons at Milan scoring 42 goals. I know the prem is levels above but how would we get a better player than that bearing in mind we are fighting relegation.
I'm in some agreement tbh, he did pretty well for Chavs as well in terms of productivity so evidence he can do it at this level. The squad is devoid of talent and particularly goal contributors, if we can strike a good value deal for him it's a PL proven senior player who quantifiably improves the first XI, and would be more than good enough for the bench in 2-3 years time if we put together a cohesive transfer strategy that saw consistent spending towards an identifiable goal. Pulisic would be among the best players I think we could attract in my head with back to back bottom half finishes virtually locked in and European football next season a near impossibility.

The ship has sailed on signing the likes of Marmoush, Rodrygo, et al, even players who would have joined us in the past 5 years had we had the stones to go in, pay the money and get them before anyone else got a sniff, thinking Guehi, Eze, Neto, Mbeumo, would likely turn us down in favour of waiting on a big move to a more stable team. If we're smart we will try to do deals for players across Europe who can be the next big thing as even within our meagre spending habits, English clubs have ample financial muscle to get deals done with siginificantly less wealthy clubs on the continent.

Pulisic is a great player. He was the best player on the pitch over two legs against RM when they won the CL. His problem has always been injuries. Which means he would be a disastrous signing for us because he would certainly get injured.

Intelligent post with doses of realism.

When we looked down on Pulisic, we had Son, Kane, Eriksen and Alli. Now we have Tel, Odobert and Kudus.

We are back to square 1 where we need capable experienced people, if not world beaters. A team of 7s and 8s beats a team of 6s with one or 2 9's. We need to bulk out our squad with 7s and 8s.

Just saw this on the BBC gossip page:

Tottenham and Chelsea are interested in signing Bayern Munich's South Korean centre-back Kim Min-jae, 29. (CFBayernInsider)

I can't imagine a more depressing signing. He's looked like the worst player at Bayern every time I've seen him. Errors all over the place.

Let me guess: we're relying on his scouting report from when we failed to sign him 6+ years ago.

There's a real crisis of creative thinking at this club.

Yet another, in now a pretty long list of players we have been linked to for years

Its almost like we havent had someone scouting players for half a decade

Hes 29 now, he was a young player when we were first linked, when he went to the Italian team (Atalanta maybe?)

Cant get the tweet open but can see this on a google search
Mourinho reveals: “I wanted to sign Kim Min-jae when I was at Tottenham. I had some FaceTime calls with him — our bid was €5m, Fenerbahçe

An old Romano tweet

Sell a few shirts though won't he... and those 10,000 S. Korean's leaving are making the place feel empty. If we sign him, he will not be for footballing reasons... you know it, I know it... and so do ENIC.

We really should be prioritizing healthy players with steady personalities and positive attitudes. We don't need sick notes, headcases, or moody bastards.

I think Pulisic is a decent player, but it feels like his best years are probably already behind him, unfortunately. There's plenty of other decent LW talent out there- it's just a matter of willingness to pay fees and wages.
