Not sure about the strength, the kid is an absolute tank for his age.

I’d say he’s about the same speed as Grealish and faster than Kane.

His mentality, IQ and technical ability is right there to be an elite #10 imo. But no rush. If he’s not in the Prem next season that’s fine, not everyone needs to be Yamal and tbh the Prem demands so much running, it burns through players fast.
In no way is he anywhere near Gazza strength. He is physically improving though. He reminds me so.much of Villa Grealish but has more vision.
His fitness levels are on another level from earlier in the season. He looked after 60 max back then but he’s cruising through games and looks strong at the end of games.

At 18 he isn’t I agree.

By 25/26? It’s not impossible.

Agreed on the Grealish vibes though.

This loan was perfect. Need to get the next one right too. Championship might be better than the Prem.

It is impossible. Gazza was an utter freak. He was like a piece of iron and he used his body like nobody I’ve seen. Gazza was a freak at 18 too.

I’d honestly get him back and get him in about it next season. He will have gained so much this season in terms of mindset and mentality playing at a club like Rangers who demand victory every game.

It’s been a brilliant loan because he’s been involved in such a toxic environment and now it’s the complete opposite and if Rangers win the title it would he even better. 2 trophies in 2 seasons at 19 would give him a winning feeling that he will only want more. That can only be beneficial for us.

To me he's a lot slower than Foden. More like Gascoigne, but not as strong.
Slower of foot yes, but a quick thinker with a picture in his head. That's where I think he's more like Foden. Gazza was very stocky but was explosive over 5-10 yards, which was why he always looked like he drifted past players. He'd get skinned in a footrace, much like MM would, but that 5-10 yards is the difference maker. Couple that with being a few yards ahead in the head and you have the makings of a proper 10. David Silva was just like that, as was/is Kane. Neither particularly quick, but always thinking faster than the opposition.

The only thing pulling me back from bringing him into the first team next season is the risk of burnout,

Kane didn’t play consistently in the prem until later in his physical development and he’s probably playing into his late 30’s.

Too often these teenage stars end up burning through their mileage before they fully develop physically and it breaks them

F that just bring him back and integrate into
The squad. Sending him on loan again is basically gonna push him down the pecking prefer. If Tel, who has proven nothing yet, is deemed good enough at 19 for first team squad then so is Moore. I hate when people just keep saying send them on loan. Every bloody team in the league play their youngsters or give them a chance. Only we don’t and some supporters are happy about them complain about the shite signings we make instead.

Yeah Mikey's bulked up but he still get pushed off the ball when he tries to be too cute with his dribbles. He can hold his own in the men's game now which is progress but hes pretty average in every physical aspect - not especially strong, fast or powerful.

I think to make it at Spurs he's gonna have to be absolutely exceptional at the other areas of the game, as elite physicality is almost a base requirement in the PL these days.

Luckily his technique is already sublime. His first touch and the way he keeps the ball so close to his feet when he dribbles...it's up there with anyone in our current squad and better than the vast majority.

Think his decision-making is gonna be the biggest area of to improvement to really excel in the PL. If he cant beat the league physically hes gonna have to be a step ahead mentally AND technically.

Hes's getting there but hes still a year or two away I think.
Love it when you say to make it at spurs he needs to exceptional in other areas. Like we have wasted a ton of money on bang average players who exceptionally good at nothing. Yet Moore has to have a much higher threshold to break through into first team. Sod it with Poch I hope players like Moore, Devine , lankshear, dorrington and the Croat lad get a chance. Rather them than the over priced average players we buy instead.

Well if I had it my way players like Gray, Tel and Odobert would be on loan too. I don't think any of them are really ready to be first teamers. The squad-building under Lange has been really poor and we've got all these kids that should be understudies and prospects playing in the first 11.

I think if we brought back Moore right now he'd struggle and end up getting shit from the fans cos he's not as good as they want/expect him to be yet. Better to let him develop on loan, play 40+ games a season, then come back to Spurs when he's actually ready.

And I think it's pretty much a given that if you're not physically outstanding you do have to be absolutely exceptional at other parts of the game to make it in the PL. Most of the PL is made up of physical freaks these days - not many slow midfielders and attackers make the cut.
