Match Tottenham Hotspur vs Woolwich Sunday 22nd Feb 16:30

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Arghghhhhh!!!!

I was happy in my own little world a few weeks ago when I knew for sure we were just going to get thrashed by these tossers. They were flying and everything seemed to be going for them. We were in the shit with a manager who's team talks consisted of "Be more like them......"

I had accepted it and made peace with it.

Now?

I'm going to be soooo disappointed if we don't fuck them over and get at least a draw!

Damn you football - you're going to make me suffer again aren't you.

:pochcry:
Yep, I think a lot of people on here are feeling the same way... it's now become a game that we might get something from and in doing so screw them over... but like you say, as soon as we think there is some reason to be optimistic... the footballing gods have a way of slapping us back down. For that reason I am not getting my hopes up. We still have some very ordinary players.

Sunday is a ‘free hit’. We have more winnable games in the next 6 weeks. This game is about enjoying a chance to put one over Woolwich with no pressure. It’s about the fans enjoying a home game for the first time in a long time. Frank is gone and we have a manager who will encourage our players to go for it. The players will feel a weight has been lifted from their shoulders. The shackles are off. The fans will be raucously behind them. After the Wolves draw, Woolwich have all the pressure on them, in an intimidating and hostile environment. My only concern is injuries and suspensions - we cannot afford to get any more.
No it's not

Forgot about the game after they went 2-0 up.
Dunno what was more of a shock this morning, the 2-2 draw or Andrew getting nicked.

Me too and I turned it back on just after Wolves 1st and thought

‘Maybe’?

Any longer and Wolves might have won it as Woolwich toys thrown right out of the pram

Tossers!

I reckon those Goons will be nervous, because of their own predicament with Manchester City on their heels, because it's a NLD at our gaff, because they don't know what our tactics will be, and because of a possible new manager bounce.

Their fans annoy me the most. So OTT. Worked with some right gooner saps over the years.
Generally the incel’s go to club.

Having lived the majority of my life in North London I’ve met and known a fair few Woolwich fans over the years. However I honestly think I can count on one hand the amount of fans where it was generational i.e. their family passed it down. The bulk of them are all of the “my parents weren’t into football” camp and thus when vulnerable and/or feebleminded were lured by Woolwich - more recently the strong internet presence.

These days I’ll often see kids in the park where there might be 3 siblings, one in a Woolwich shirt, one in a PSG and one in an Inter Miami Messi shirt - says it all really.

That’s the spirit!

:solankefacepalm:

After two seasons of PL misery it's difficult to be positive of anything this team does on the pitch.'

I watched the Wolves game last night and it beggars belief how they have just managed to get into double figures on points this season.

They played Woolwich off the park on the second half.

Let's see how our Xg factor stands after ninety minutes on Sunday.
