It wouldn't be rushing.

You can't bring in a new dof the day the window opens and expect results without significant preparation.

Like I said - they had no intention of sacking him and were going to see it through and grind out to end of season, probability with forest and spam in the mix we wouldn't go down (+injured players coming back).

It's Vinai's M.O., formed from difficulties in the beginning with Farteta at scum.

If they weren't overruled from above (impossible to have predicted), he'd still be here and they would be planning for next season with him.

Not the worst recruitment Spurs have ever got involved in.

Bizarre how you see his list as sufficiently impressive, and I see it as pure negligence that almost gets us relegated. Especially when vuskovic wasn't even his signing.

Some of the players are decent or will be decent in the long term but the issue is the DoF isn’t a head scout job. It’s the alignment of choosing players and managers to build a successful cohesive team. Choosing Frank and sticking with him has been a fucking mess for Lange. Also getting young players is great but we clearly lacked a few senior pros in key positions that have hurt us.

Lange should have been our head of data and scouting, we need a proper DoF.
