This is always going to happen with good players who think they should be playing at a higher level. I wouldn't even say that he's a culprit behind this culture, the culture is shit because that's the way the club operate, it's a complete shit show and has been for a few years.

People want us to sell him and the likes of Romero are massively missing the point, they're good players who feel they should be playing at a higher level so they're going to lose interest very quickly, we need to keep these guys around and supplement the team with better players and improve the club's standing - can't just get rid because the likelihood is that they'll be replaced with players who aren't as good as them, that's not how you build a team.

If that’s what’s happening then they are a pair of cunts, because neither of them are anywhere near as good as they think they are.

Both Romero and Van De Ven are part of the issue. Could not be clearer.

Van De Ven and Romero have failed us this season in many respects. A strong manager pulls them up on their actions or seeks to sell them.

You yourself lambasted Romero yesterday for getting himself sent off for us at a critical tine.

So me fuming at a player for being suspended means I want them sold? You need to learn what contradictory statements actually mean before you comment on them.

With that said no I won't do you a favour, you say they are part of the issue but the issue is the culture of the club is crap and selling your best players isn't the way you improve, it's buying better and improving the culture, not rocket science mate...

Our defence is in permanent disarray - because there is no continuity or a cohesive understanding and trust of who they play with, because they are either banned or in the sick bay.

And now VDV is finally staying in the team, he is now permanently out of position and the the main cause of the defensive chaos?

Best centre backs pairing in the country.

Get sent off and it's the club's fault. Out of position, it's a lack of continuity. Both deserve better clubs. Poor duo having to play with sub-standard players.

We are so lucky to have both players.

Who said permanently out of position?

Both him and Romero are nowhere near as good as they think they are and exude a pretty crap attitude for those supposed to be part of the leadership team.
