Get him back in the team as soon as we can. We need as many good players in the team as possible.

He is setting the standard as a captain and our standard has lowered materially. Not sure that's balanced.
If we go down, God forbid,a fair whack of that is on the previous manager but also those who kept him in situ for too long. Paucity all over the shop right there and savage incompetence.
On Romero, I think he is a poor captain, and that's unhelpful and not as it should be.
He is not however alone on the pitch, but should lead better, and when he plays well of course he is an obvious asset to the team.
All I know is that he owes the fans a few top quality games between now and the end of the season.
It's honestly hilarious that some people think Romero is “valuable” just because he scores the occasional goal. Like, seriously? That magically fixes his dumpster-fire defending?
Let's break it down:
- 4 goals this season – that’s it.
-Newcastle: 2 goals. Contribution: 1 point… if you ignore that he sucked defensively for the first and gave away a penalty. Net: +1 point.
-West Ham: 1 goal. Loss. Contribution: 0 points.
-Burnley: 1 goal. Contribution: cost us two goals and three points through his absolute clownery. Net: -3 points.
Even when he scores, the guy still costs us points. That's a special kind of terrible.
And that's ignoring all the other matches where he straight-up loses games for us – dumb defending, red cards, you name it. We're talking ~15 points lost this season thanks to Captain Clownshoe.
Bottom line: Romero is so horrifically bad that even the rare goals he scores can't save him. Truly remarkable in his ineptitude.
Romero is 100 times better than Dragusin though, he's easily our best CB on the ball. We badly need him if we're going to survive which is why it's so frustrating that he's constantly getting himself suspended. It's honestly hilarious that some people think Romero is “valuable” just because he scores the occasional goal. And I can't take people seriously who think that mistakes from one player costing us goals game after game is just a coincidence and not a pattern.I really can't take people seriously who assess the game in isolated stand out moments as opposed to assessing their contribution over 90 mins, this is not really how football works my friend and this isn't how coaches analyse football and performances either.
No, we need someone who can defend. What good is "being good on the ball" if you can't stop the opposition when THEY have the ball?Romero is 100 times better than Dragusin though, he's easily our best CB on the ball. I'm playing devil's advocate here. It's just funny all the moaning that people don't want him to play, and when he doesn't, it's his fault we lose. Do you not see the irony here? What were the games we were winning with him? Its like you have had your memory wiped. The last game we actually won...guess what no Romero. This very disingenuous take.

This guy is a nutter. Wouldn't waste your energy.Your claims that Romero has cost us X amount of points this season through personal errors (an entirely reasonable claim mind you) would hold more weight if the only actual example you give wasn't Newcastle - where he scored 2 goals and apparently magically turned himself into Rodrigo Bentancur to give away their penalty![]()
To his credit, he's the OG here for this. Mental gymnastic gold champion here.I know. But I'm not letting these guys get away with their blatant lies anymore.
Also, it's quite fun when they do shit like this and I get to laugh about it![]()
If he gets 2 yellows in same game is it a 3 game ban.2 yellows away from a 2 game ban.
Is his place in the Argentina team in jeopardy or can he just avoid injury until the WC?
You're right. Two things can be true and they highlight exactly how big a bind we are in...fucking depressing.I'm playing devil's advocate here. It's just funny all the moaning that people don't want him to play, and when he doesn't, it's his fault we lose. Do you not see the irony here?
I'm sick to death of him, doesn't mean he's still not out one of our best two CB's sadly.
We are cooked my friend, cooked. Even if we stay up, which for now, I don't see happening unless things change very quickly, is are the club going to make good decisions in the summer so that we're not in this situation again? Unlikely.Your right. Two things can be true and they highlight exactly how big a bind we are in...fucking depressing.
