Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If he’s telling the players what he’s telling us, then his mentality is exactly what this club needs in this moment

He can tell them all he wants but it's not going to make Simons and Gallagher wide wingers, nor is it going to make Solanke a CDM.

I like the message but if I see those players being played out of position again and we lose against Palace? I won't be blaming "mentality". Or at least not just "mentality".

One of our biggest problems is no one has roots at Tottenham. Not Vinai or Lange that have been here for a short time. Not the Manager or Coaching staff. Not the players. We had Kane, Son, Winks & Skipp who were here for years. At the beginning of the season Davies was our longest serving player but he has effectively gone. Not sure who has been here the longest but whilst we get Ex players back who support the club like Defoe,, Chivers etc, who of our current crop would you say will be back as an EX spurs player still supporting us? I cannot think of anyone. I do not know of any of them that actually supported us as a boy.

It will take time to get this stability back but we desperately need some of our ex Academy players currently on loan like Moore to make it & stay. We cannot keep chopping & changing as you lose loyalty. As soon as Tudor was appointed people were talking about sacking him. It may come to that but not after 2 matches and talking about IF we lose tomorrow is defeatist. Talking about Vinai & Lange going in the summer will leave What? A Vacuum and so we bring in a new Sporting Director but need to suss if he is any good before we get rid of Lange.

His blunt approach might be what we need.

It doesn’t seem like the optimistic method has worked much. If anything it might’ve made the team complacent thinking it’s acceptable to lose all the time.

He looked completely broken. After 180 minutes. A record even for us!

Yeah. He keeps talking about how it is his hardest job with all of the injuries and playing against the best teams in the world. It may be true to a certain extent, but it is irrelevant as it is fucking worrying to hear from your new manager you just paid to bring in to win games and give confidence.

It's like when all Jose Mourinho did half way through the season was talk to the players about how he was depressed at Christmas because of his dead dog. I don't know about anyone else but I don't really need to hear that from a manager. You're basically paid to have a positive outlook even when everything is fucked.

For example, when 'Arry came in all he did was play players in their best positions and tell them they were World Class.
