Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Those saying we can't risk keeping Tudor after Palace, I get the sentiment. It's just not that simple. It's arguably an even bigger a risk to throw yet another manger into the mix and reset the training and player instructions yet again.

In my opinion, throwing new managers in every month because we expect a quick fix is more likely to make it worse. There's no manager that will fix this quickly. None.

Wrong.

Harry would have immediate impact and lift the whole mood of the club.

Keano as his assistant bumps it up another level.

This phase is all about VIBE.

Tudor hasn't done anything revolutionary in training to make it a tricky transition from here

Just got them doing bleeps.

His set-ups have been horrible and he hasn't got a clue about the prem, or this club, and zero connection apart from fans thinking he's a bit of a tough-guy.

Lame.

We need common sense appraoch and tons of bonhomie with a manager who has strong links with the club who the fans can instantly buy into, as they need to be REACTIVATED and will play a huge role in this.

Harry has a natural way that inspires, supper approachable, will set us up effectively for what we have left in squad and will inspire younger players and fill them with confidence (along with rest of squad).

He'll tell them to go out there, not be afraid and play their football.

And underneath it he will put sensible, balanced structure.

If we'd have gotten him in instead of Tudor we'd not be here shitting it to such a degree.

If Tudor doesn't come up with the goods tomorrow, he's GOT TO GO.

There's no time to fuck about.

Bin him.

The players are clearly not taking to him.

Honestly Dyche would have been a better pick than Tudor. This whole Gallagher as a winger thing is farcical. Not starting Tel. What a joke.

If the club come to their senses and Tudor can't figure it out, they ought to try and get Dyche in to mount a relegation fight. You have absolutely no hope if you can't figure out how to play players in their best positions.

Big write up for someone advocating to keep Frank, and telling us what a wonderful job he was doing. And now you're for sacking a manager after 4 games.

Its bizarre the amount of blind faith people have that harry redknapp is the answer because he had a good period with us 15 years ago.

You'd think that they know him personally. And all their reasoning amounts to is 'he'll tell them to just play'.

Dyche ain't it.

Wrong fit.

Harry's the perfect character for the moment.

Need someone from 'inside' the club, as it were.

Fans need to instantly connect and get a buzz off of it.

Harry and Keano (assistant) is the play imvho.

If it were done 10 games ago, sure, why not. But with games to go, that is not the time. The board made a decision to stick with Frank for months longer than they should've, and gave us one shot at getting this right. And, Lange being Lange, looks to have got that one wrong too.

The only hope is that players decide to show up. That's it.

I dunno mate, I think you might be underestimating the motivational force an 80 year old man whos been out the game for a decade has.

I feel like every manager thinks they want to be attacking but they also want it to fit within their game model and control.

What fans associate with attacking is more players being free to attack at will and in large numbers but the more the players are settled into a system and understand when they can attack, the more it looks to us like they are attacking freely and at will.

Ange was the outlier because he’s a mad man that literally tells them to just attack all the time, indiscriminately.

What we need is a coach who’s game model and attitude to control is appealing enough to the fans and players to survive long enough for the players to adapt to it.
It would be great to just ficking control a game for once. I don’t think we have done that all season. Even teams who generally don’t have a lot of the ball have had more than we have when we play them. That was from franks tenure.

He can tell them all he wants but it's not going to make Simons and Gallagher wide wingers, nor is it going to make Solanke a CDM.

I like the message but if I see those players being played out of position again and we lose against Palace? I won't be blaming "mentality". Or at least not just "mentality".
Yeah said this myself. He talks a good game but in practise he makes a pigs ear out of the team selection, formation and intent. Just fucking play your best players in their preferred positions and then fill in the gaps. We keep moving players out of position either to play a certain formation or to accommodate another player. It’s baffling.

Yeah - Tudor made a mess of the Fulham game, no doubt about it, but fuck me what an incoherent mess of a squad he's working with.

No reliable goalscorers at all (except Rich who's coming back from injury), no passing midfielders, about 5 number 8s, no established left back, one of the worst CBs in the league, no wingers, barely any creativity...it's a joke. Injuries have compounded the issue, for sure, but the squad Lange has built and the choice of signings in Jan are about as bad a job as he could've done. It's like baking a cake but forgetting the butter and the eggs. Just fuckloads of flour and sugar.

Maybe if Tudor just played players in the right positions we could've eked out a point against Fulham, but I suspect whoever we brought in would've struggled to put together a coherent line-up and get a strong peformance.

The squad-building and the players are the biggest issue imo and it's that combined with freak injuries that have left us in this mess. Plus the leadership letting it fester for far too long under Frank and not making appropriate emergency signings in Jan.

Yeah. He keeps talking about how it is his hardest job with all of the injuries and playing against the best teams in the world. It may be true to a certain extent, but it is irrelevant as it is fucking worrying to hear from your new manager you just paid to bring in to win games and give confidence.

It's like when all Jose Mourinho did half way through the season was talk to the players about how he was depressed at Christmas because of his dead dog. I don't know about anyone else but I don't really need to hear that from a manager. You're basically paid to have a positive outlook even when everything is fucked.

For example, when 'Arry came in all he did was play players in their best positions and tell them they were World Class.
Exactly can’t be that difficult.

It's incompetence. That's all it is. Most folk here, not all, I just can't see doing a worse job than Lange. Vinai promising to challenge for leagues, Levy (less said the better).

We've been sleep walking down this road for a very, very long time. There is one party to blame for this while mess, and they don't care. I actually had someone telling me that Vinao's match day program notes were reason to be optimistic and how it wasn't the shite we've been getting spoofed for the last decade or so.

I'm apathetic to it all now. I seen this happening in fucking October, how can people being paid millions a year not? Fuckng grifters.
