Which is where a club with our fanbase and our wealth should be. But instead of capitalising he refused to prioritise the football team and oversaw our decline to the fucking shite we're seeing today.People can say what they want about Levy but when he was the tight fisted penny pinching twat in charge we were consistently top 6 for a decade or more.
He's not been seen since
So the chairman had us precisely where we should be. 6th biggest club in the country in the top 6.Which is where a club with our fanbase and our wealth should be. But instead of capitalising he refused to prioritise the football team and oversaw our decline to the fucking shite we're seeing today.
Absolve... Odd suggestion as no such thing was done. Now is NOT the fucking time to defend, support or absolve Daniel Levy for this fucking mess.
Who hired every single one of those cowboys you just mentioned? So the chairman had us precisely where we should be. 6th biggest club in the country in the top 6.

Merely pointing out that things have got a lot worse in the last few seasons since we moved to a DoF model and later a CEO. Whereas this wasn't the case when baldy micro-managed every aspect of the club.
We may have underachieved and underutilised resources somewhat when Levy was overbearing in his control, but we were stable. Moving to Paratici, Munn, Lange, Vinai has made us very instable. Surely that's plain for all to see. The change in management structure has made us worse not better.
Wouldn't surprise me after 25 years as chairman he didn't have his own private season tickets.
There were rumours he was banned from the stadium. I don't think that's true, unless he was up to some seriously shady shit that we don't know about.Wouldn't surprise me after 25 years as chairman he didn't have his own private season tickets.
And when he was fired he'd have lost his directors section privilages and not have means to go to games.
I think they have instructed some kind of audit / investigation into his financial management of the club haven't they? There were rumours he was banned from the stadium. I don't think that's true, unless he was up to some seriously shady shit that we don't know about.
I'm not really privvy to it to be honest. I was just glad he was gone. I didn't really do too much digging or pay attention to him, just seen the odd post from twitter on here.I think they have instructed some kind of audit / investigation into his financial management of the club haven't they?
It wouldn't be unusual for him to be excluded from the club until it reaches it's conclusion
I really want to hold your hand and guide you out of Plato's cave...Wouldn't surprise me after 25 years as chairman he didn't have his own private season tickets.
And when he was fired he'd have lost his directors section privilages and not have means to go to games.
when youre in the shit you dont gamble with someone with no experience
He had no experience of management full stopwhen youre in the shit you dont gamble with someone with no experience
Barcodes did that with Shearer when an Allardyce wouldve kept them up
There was far less disparity in revenue between the big clubs and the rest in those days so it wasn't so seismic. Even Man Utd went down in the 70's.We were a great club in the 60's and still got relegation the 70's
Shit happens
Yes. It's fair to say it is the worst mis-management of a big club by owners in modern football history. The only other thing that possibly is up there I can think of is Glasgow Rangers tax evasion. There was far less disparity in revenue between the big clubs and the rest in those days so it wasn't so seismic. Even Man Utd went down in the 70's.
Today, we're talking about the 9th wealthiest club in world football with revenue that dwarfs every other premier league club outside of the Big Six.
It's totally unprecedented and not comparible to a totally different era some half a century ago
It's tantamount to criminal negligence that relegation is even a possibility
And the Juventus match fixing.Yes. It's fair to say it is the worst mis-management of a big club by owners in modern football history. The only other thing that possibly is up there I can think of is Glasgow Rangers tax evasion.
