Our midfield is beyond worthless without him and Bentancur and I think Bentancur is terrible. Until Lucas gets back, we will have to continue playing this group of cloggers who can’t keep hold of the ball and we will just get battered over and over.
Playing Gray and Bergvall in the middle may give us a slight glimmer of hope that we can control a match for any length of time.

Agree but don’t think Bentancur is terrible. He was scapegoated and people just ran with it. What’s come after has shown it wasn’t him. He’s composed, and he’s technically decent. He can find passes off either foot. I think we’re missing him. The not passing forward thing was a structure and team issue. now we can’t even hold the ball let alone pass.
