I wasn't. The same cannot be said for the whole club and unfortunately most of its fanbase.

If we can sell Solanke early enough in the window that he hasn’t yet been injured, we should grab the money and sprint away like we’re being chased by a crocodile
Solanke is a very good striker imo. England level. From what I've seen he's a really good player but doesn't suit their style at all. Think Woltemade will do great at the right club.
Dunno why but Solanke feels like a Newcastle player to me. Doesn't feel right as a Spurs player even if I think we should hang on to him if we go down.
I think he's...fine. A solid all-round footballer but not really got that striker's killer instinct and doesn't threaten enough for me. He relies a lot on service - doesn't really seem capable of creating goals for himself - and as a result he kinda raises or lowers himself to the standard of the team.Solanke is a very good striker imo. We’ve got no excuse going down with a fit Solanke

Everyone thought him returning would really be a big boost to our season but it's barely changed a thing. He's scored a handful of sitters, one freak scorpion-kick worldie, but he hasn't really impacted games half as much as I hoped he would.
For me he's like a 6/10 PL striker who has had 1 standout season. A solid mid-table player and that's about it - 3 England caps feels about right.
Richy's scored worldies this season too. Another mid-table standard PL striker we overpaid for imo. That’s his floor.
His ceiling is a scorpion kick at the Etihad.
Like all of our players, he’s better than he’s showing
Again, Richy is a ceiling and floor type player. Early this season, his ceiling was actually really high. At times, especially when his body is failing, his floor is mid table standardRichy's scored worldies this season too. Another mid-table standard PL striker we overpaid for imo.
But yeah our entire squad is better than they're showing right now. I just don't think Solanke's level is ever gonna be above like a 7/10 tops.
Hopefully he proves me wrong.
I agree with all of this apart from Xavi and Tel, I'm not ready to give up on those two yet (although they may be ready to give up on us!).I don't especially rate Solanke and would normally be OK with selling if we could get our money back but think he's one we'd be sensible to keep if we get relegated. He's proven he can boss the Champ, won't be overawed by it, and selling Rich simply makes more sense. Also seems to have a pretty decent attitude compared to some others in the squad.
Solanke, Lankshear + 1 new signing would be a solid Championship set of forwards.
If we're doing a cull to raise money, Solanke would be way down the list for me. Get rid of Romero, VdV, Bentancur, Porro, Vicario, Dragusin, Richarlison and probably Xavi or Tel (maybe loans for those 2?) before we sell Dom.
Crocodiles aren't very fast btw.If we can sell Solanke early enough in the window that he hasn’t yet been injured, we should grab the money and sprint away like we’re being chased by a crocodile

We’ve got no excuse going down with a fit Solanke. We won’t go down with players like this fit as long as we start playing with some confidence.
Yeah that's why I singled those 2 out for loans if we go down. Think there's a chance they could leave and then come back if/when we get promoted.I agree with all of this apart from Xavi and Tel, I'm not ready to give up on those two yet (although they may be ready to give up on us!).
I would normally completely agree but I think we could struggle to attract a better striker if we get relegated. Striker market isn't great and he got 29 goals in 46 the last season he was in the Champ. We could really use that and Lankshear's a solid enough backup - those 2 and maybe 1 more versatile signing that can do a job at 9 would have us well covered up top.Only made 14 appearances for us this season with 5 goals. 10 appearances in league with 3 goals.
Last season 45 appearances and 16 goals. 27 appearances in league with 9 goals.
He is a 1 in 3 striker who has been unavailable too often for us over the 2 seasons. If a decent offer comes in for him then just like every other player on our books, apart from gray, the blonde twink and our Croatian CB, I would gladly accept and let him go.

I’m torn. I think if we go down we should keep him for the championship. He’ll probably score a fair few in that league.
We need a well above that level striker to ensure we come straight back up.
Muani isn’t staying. Richarlison won’t either besides it’s time we sold him anyway.
We’d need a good side to come back up. The championship wouldn’t be easy. I’ve seen people post teams filled with our youth players after selling everyone. That would get relegated again. The whole point of being frugal with our finances should be that we could keep players we wanted in this situation surely, otherwise what was the point.I’m torn. I think if we go down we should keep him for the championship. He’ll probably score a fair few in that league.
