Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Is the alternative to abandon waiting for Poch, and go all in for a FT hire now?

De Zerbi, Rose, Terzic, Xavi etc.
Give them a "walk" clause if they can't keep us up..

What was the point in letting that fraud Aussie chancer wreck the side for 2 seasons?
What was the point in waiting until after the window closes before sacking Frank?
What was the point getting Heitinger in for 30 days.

You can't still think this lot have ANY form of plan?
Ask Levy that... Oh wait Levy got sacked... But the damage he caused will linger for years.

People should be paid £1000 for every time that bald c**t gets punched in the face. Proof required of course.

Or a free season ticket for the family or something.

I hope we're attempting to make those phone calls, but my assumption is they will all say no.

Those managers will correctly feel they will have no chance to meaningfully implement their ideas in the current situation, and they'd be taking a risk of an enormous blow to their reputation and credibility for what's a poisoned chalice anyway.

Even with PL status confirmed and promises of a war chest in the summer I anticipate we are going to be a very tough sell, but right now? Forget about it.

He was never getting sacked before Liverpool and at this stage I think he will be here until the end because Vinai and Lange are clueless. It was bad enough for them to scramble around for Tudor. No chance they then replace him again.

But he was definitely never going before Sunday. They wouldn't bring in a new manager for a guaranteed loss at Anfield.

Gary O'Neil is a good shout.
I thought he spoke very well on one MNF a while back. Seems he'd been going to places like city and others to learn and gain new experiences and thought processes. Rejected the wolves job (rightly so imo) because he's looking for the right opportunity. IMO this is it interim here turn this shit show around somewhat his stock will be quite high and come summer he gets a job or he'll be top of the que for any side parting ways after a poor start next season.

Well I have flipped after last night, and I can’t believe this club has brought me to this position but I think the board must relieve Tudor from his post now and get Mason & Sherwood in for the remainder of the season if possible.

Again, I can’t believe I’ve come to the position of wanting Sherwood back.

Tudor seems tactically rigid with a system which the players are unaccustomed to and his man management skills seem dreadful. His approach may work with a group of genuine pros with some spirit & resilience about them but the tough love seems to have just left members of this squad either cowering, increasingly apathetic, or simply dissolving themselves of responsibility for anything.

If we go down at least it would be with some of our own - although I am dismayed to be putting Sherwood in that bracket.

ONeil is currently the manager of FC Strasbourg

Why should Sherwood come back and try to save this club when fans like you are so disrespectful of him and cannot stand the guy? Unbelievable

It has to be Mason and it's going to be Mason, I feel pretty certain.

It is just too late for an outsider. Three weeks ago we had options, now we don't.
A person that players will see as not much more than a glorified “cone boy” that failed at his only go at management. That’s admitting defeat.

I think rolling the dice with Dyche is probably our best option at this stage, and maybe bring one or 2 former players, possibly including Mason and Defoe maybe as his back room staff.

Even if "commanding the players respect" is the right frame here (which I don't really think it is), I really think you are taking a mistaken view of how our actual players would view Ryan Mason vs Sean Dyche because of how YOU view Ryan Mason vs Sean Dyche.

They know Mason personally, and were literal children in many cases when Dyche last had any meaningful success.

Just had a look seems he's doing a good job there too.
Never in a trillion years is he leaving that job to have his reputation in his native country torpedoed by a team he knows he would have neither the time nor the authority to stamp his ideas upon.

Dream on, guys

I was talking about him as a free agent.

If I'm a candidate, I get my agent/lawyer/Harry Kanes brother, to draw up a simple contract.

I agree to take the role of THFC head coach, subject to the following conditions being met.

X, Y, Z players being removed from the squad
A, B and C being acquired for 26/27 by July 31st
Coaches D, E & f joining the team

If these conditions are not met, THFC agrees to cancel this contract and pay the full term of wages agreed upon.

Any coach, including Pochz needs to protect their own interests above all else.
If coaches all came to interviews with this sort of criteria, it would make ENIC think long and hard about their usual lies and let downs.

He comes from Borehamwood, he isn’t very good.

At least he’ll offer fans the opportunity if they think they know better…
