There's many a true word said in jest. The comments on here show the conundrum. Should the choice be a capable coach like Dyche or a nice bloke like Mason? Dyche would be the obvious choice but the motley crew that is the Spurs squad would doubtless be offended at being told what to do. Mason might be received more favourably but, though it's only for nine matches, will the players perform for him?
Put the problem at the players' feet. You're top professionals (supposedly), prove it over the next eight weeks!

Do you know, that's not a bad idea. They seem to have egos big enough to think they could do it. But then who gives them a rollicking when they cock up or get sent off? Vicario or Porro?
I don't rate him as a manager because I read when he was manager at Bayern the players had to meet before kick off to discuss strategy because Klinsmann didn't have any.
I think he might be able to lift the player's spirits, there doesn't seem to be many viable options. I'm not keen on Redknapp or Mason, and I can't think who else would even want the job, the only other option is Sherwood I suppose.
I'd rather Tim over igor but the concern is the players have publicly seen him slating them and he's also said he'd put an arm round them so they'll see straight through his charade.

Get him some respected ex players in the staff, like Defoe, Ledley and Vertonghen, it could work
Mason would play 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 with Xavi in the 10 and players in their natural position.
