Manager Igor Tudor

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Have to say tudor weren't at fault for palace game. Vdv was. After red card we folded like a pack of cards. Yesterday kinsky bless him was way out of depth. Imo players minds are scrambled. Frank and Ange were appalling appointments so it all points to the board making diabolical appointments. Problem with players is any adversity players can't handle it and give up. Disgrace really.

But that’s why clubs spend gazillions employing Managers ; to ensure that their charges can cope with adverse and unforeseen situations. And much more besides .

Nowadays it seems that their main role is to take part in interviews with the press and carry the can and take the hit(s) for the owners ( and this doesn’t only apply to our Club btw ) .

and West Ham did it with Trevor Brooking. It doesn't work.

Neither Shearer or Brooking had ever managed before.

JK is actually quite an experienced manger ( who’s had to handle big names and might well have learned from his failures [which are often the best teacher] ) .

I’m not saying he’d be guaranteed perfect for us , far from it ; but it’s not as nuts as it may seem . And let’s be honest it’s probably going to take some “ out of left field solution “ to redeem the situation our Club has found itself in . Logic and rationality both left the building some time ago .

It gives me no pleasure to write this btw .

Tudor made a bad gamble bringing kinsky in. He obviously hasn't been impressed with vicario last few weeks. Whatever tudor did last night the media would have been all over it regardless. Cunts and been in overdrive sticking the boot into us last few years. I think tudor will get Liverpool game. End of the day hes trying to clear up Frank's mess. If we get walloped by Liverpool then I think tudor will go and need new manager bounce for critical forest game.

You know the trouble with this new thing I see about playing players in their natural positions, go back to back 4 .
Old Thomas played a back 4, xavi in a 10, players in more natural roles alot this season. And we were still utter garbage. Even with a near full strength squad were were awful

I feel that was a mentality thing though. The teams looked balanced but we refused to send players forward and never tried to play the ball through the middle so we were painfully predictable.

With the players we have, it’s not hard to fix those 2 things

Club is done for a few cycles
Not really. Survive and 2 windows later with the right coaching staff and front office crew, we can be back quickly

According to Klinsmann's Wikipedia page he has an overall win percentage as manager of 54.41.
So using that figure he'd nearly get us 5 wins, 9 matches with 54.41 win percentage is 4.8969 wins.

Is he still alive? He was a pleasure to watch, great player. Seemed like a decent bloke as well.

Scored the only goal in the 1980 FA Cup Final ( the only headed goal in his career ) playing for Div 2 West Ham to defeat a certain other team from North ( originally South ) London .

For somewhat unusual reasons , I was present at the game and was highly delighted by the outcome.

Sir Trev has been a hero of mine since that time . He also did very well for England , at a time when our national side were “ consistently underachieving “ ( I think that’s the polite term) .

TLDR : I haven’t got a problem with Sir Trevor Brooking , quite the opposite in fact .
