Tim Sherwood's last venture as a football manager was to get Aston Villa relegated ffs.

Erm no, that was Remi Garde and Eric Blakc.

Sherwood got them to a cup final and was sacked 10 games into the season after picking up one win and a draw.

They only got 2 wins and 7 draws from the other 28, and finished 22 points away from sunderland in 17th place, so for it to be sherwood's fault you'd be expecting him to have got at least 26 points from the first 10 games, which would be absurd considering their record from the first 10 games in any one PL season was 22 in 2023/24.

So if you say he got another 18 points to match that, they'd have finished 19th on 35 points (they didn't play any other relegated team under sherwood)

So we're saying Tim normalised losing and set the culture for their impending relegation after he was sacked, I see.

It's 2026 and we are discussing the 4 way battle between Ange, Sean Dyche, Tim fucking Sherwood and Arry Redknapp as our next coach.
My vote out of those is the bloke that won a trophy with our players less than a year ago and whom they all, rightly or wrongly, describe as a master at motivation and clearly admire.

Just seems blindingly fucking obvious to me.

But hopefully Tudor can turn things around and it becomes a moot point.

Exactly the same as Postecoglou's last 10 for us, as it happens

The only trophy pic I can find for Tim

There's actually 3/4 (Forest, Leeds, Wolves, Brighton) very winnable fixtures in there if we get our act together

None of these teams are as good as Bodo Glimt and are just off a similar level to Utd of last season.

It’s completely different. European games are nothing like a PL relegation battle. Bodo wouldn’t survive a full season in this league playing with a normal pitch, their squad would be broken by now and they’d be shattered.

Playing relegation fixtures isn’t like semi finals or finals & we got battered and bullied under Ange in pretty much all our crunch time of the season premier league games.

In a one off match Bodo would beat all these teams quite comfortably.

It literally is, playing relegation matches are like cup finals...your players just need to lock in for them which is what we need.

Said this before but it's highly unlikely he's gonna be putting 6 players in the box with a rest defence of Romero and VdV because it's more than likely we're going to concede...we're already low on confidence defensively as it is. What's more likely and evidence suggests it is that he resorts to the tactics that won us the trophy where we were a lot more controlled and assured.

Think he pretty much learnt from then, he wasn't even that gung ho at Forest.

Nah they wouldn’t lmao, little bro they didn’t even win the Norwegian league last season & regularly lose games in Norway. There’s a huge difference between being a difficult cup side in Europe and playing in the Prem. Gala quite literally have a team of absolute shite PL rejects and regularly beat the elite. Bodo are plucky and their plastic pitch is a bitch, the actual players they have are nothing special.

Assured haha, we were absolutely terrible and shitting it in that final. It was a narrow shit off where Van de Ven scraped it off the line.

Anyway completely pointless this. It’s all just fan fiction for the Angesexuals to rub one out over as he’s never coming back here.

Of course they would, they've literally played Inter and Atletico off the park comfortably this season in their own stadiums nonetheless, what are we doing here lol

We didn't just play like that in the final, we played the same way away to Bodo and away to Frankfurt, we were much more comfortable and ended up conceding 0 goals in those matches.

It would be great for him to come back, reckon the players would relish playing under him again.

Logic of an absolute toddler right here. Because no team from some crap league in Europe has had some good results before. It doesn’t translate to them comfortably beating most premier league sides at all. Played inter off the park while having 30% of the ball and conceding 30 odd shots by the way, do you even check shit before you waffle ???

Lovely. You can keep fantasising mate.

Not results, performances - watch how Bodo play...not a lot of teams are getting near them right now.

Meant the home match against Inter.

Why are you trying to move the argument to 'most' Premier League sides you sneaky little rat. I said that neither Leeds, Forest, Wolves or Brighton beat them.
