Why is there a lack of effort? One reason is because the club execs are a disaster and have left the players rudderless under two incompetent managers, and injury ravaged frequently missing 10 or so players without an adequate squad and missing a desire to achieve - no strategy or leadership

Players aren’t blameless but sorry, all roads lead to the board and the owners

Fuck their social media nonsense and bad bunny concerts, WWE wresting, feel the glory and fucking Iftars

One positive of relegation is knowing these cunts have overseen 1-2BN wiped off the value of their investment
You REALLY think these players are giving 100% when compared to those teams around us?!

When you’re briefing agents to look into moves before our fate is sealed, then your head really isn’t in the fight!

I like you as a poster, you’re pretty clued up on football but the incessant we’re going down thing you’re doing is getting tiring. We may well do, but if we all just accept we’re going down we absolutely will do. The stadium won’t have any fight at all. Form can change, players can come back. Something can happen. It’s football, small margins
Nah not having it.

Spurs aren't getting relegated because of fans having a moan on a thread titled "Relegation" on an internet forum or vibes. The stadium has been right behind the team, the atmosphere in the NLD was cracking, even when we were getting battered. The fans are doing their bit. They're allowed to blow off steam on here.

We're going down because of a mix of a unprecedented injury crisis, awful recruitment (in terms of playing staff management and "sporting directors") , a lack of decisiveness and ambition from the ownership and board. But not because we didn't "believe" hard enough.

If you don't want to see people openly discussing relegation as a high percentage possibility then just don't open a thread called "relegation".

We just need to keep going mate.

Let's just see how we go but there are 4 teams in this at least, and I'm not losing hope. No chance.

And Tudor will be gone if we are abject today and/or against Atletico.
Tudor is probably gone soon but who do we bring in then? Redknapp, Mason, Sherwood, Dyche? None of the names mentioned that seem somewhat likely make me confident they will drastically improve things and get this group of players going. And even more important, I have absolutely no confidence that Lange and Vinai will get things right this time either.

This is the worry , apart from Gray we seem to be going through the motions, however we know what football is like , all we need is one bit of luck and things can change , it’s not over till it’s over but right now judging just by the injuries and effort the players put in that we are favourites

A number of the current fan base, myself included, are demoralised and have little to no faith in our owners and the people put in place to run our club and feel there should be some accountability with heads rolling.

I feel that this has filtered through to the playing staff and as a result, that extra 10-20% needed on match day just ain't there!
I fear the worst!

Don’t care if you’re not having it or not, let’s call a spade a spade our support has been shit most of the season it’s got better the last month as we’re really in it but majority of the season it’s been either silent, whinging, negative and toxic.

Whether we like it or not, right or wrong it’s why the players don’t like the fan base, don’t like playing for the club and probably the reason why they cry off injured. I’m sure you’ll cry about that and say we have the bested fans in the world but we haven’t. Let’s own it. I’ve been going spurs for decades I’m not insecure about saying that

All those things are true as well of course. people can think we’re going down but then they're not really discussing it and dismissing any alternative keep on repeating it 100 times.

They'll probably rehire Frank after forgetting that they sacked him.

Exactly. If the owners don't care, it's inevitably gonna trickle down through to the playing side.

The whole culture of the club is rotten to the core.

It's got me thinking about an important home game against Liverpool a couple of years ago and before, after and even during the match we had this shit going on

Squid games overshadowing the football match

A few of my scouse supporting mates were in the crowd that day. They honestly couldn't believe what they were seeing.

We are no longer a serious football club. The players know it.

That was a really poor game to lose, and if we do go down, as much as failing to bring in more players in the window, the abject failure to sack Frank will renain as the biggest crime against our best interests I have ever seen.

Not that it changes anything now, plenty of posters were fully in favour with Frank having that game as we had won in the CL.I wasn't but so what now.

My own view is that there wil be a twist. What that looks like I'm unsure, but we can't possibly continue to lose games, surely.
To be honest, I was underwhelmed when Frank was appointed. He had nothing ion his CV to suggest he was capable of the Spurs job.

When we go down, it will be because of years of mismanagement and very poor player transfers.

I've been to nearly every home game for the past 4 years and gone to most aways in England and Europe.

Our away support is amongst the best in the league.

I was at the Fulham game when we were 2 down and Vicario whacked the free kick up the pitch out for a goal kick. Don't tell me we should have clapped that. As much as what you say is true to an extent, these players have had a lot of our support for a while now. They also need to take responsibility and realise that how they play on the pitch reflect the support they get given back. This isn't some happy clappers society, a lot of the fans going pay a lot of money, spend a lot time getting to and from games. They deserve to vent when things aren't going well as much as the players deserve support when we see them put effort in.

I've seen too many occasions where our players are jogging around. After the second goal conceded against Fulham, I looked at all our players with their heads down trundle back to the kick off. They got a lot of generous support from us, especially after the game when those of us that stayed actually clapped them off. But that was because in the final 30 mins when Richarlison scored they actually put some effort in.

The fans will respond to what is seen on the pitch. That's not unique to us. It's the same for all teams in all sports.

It's mostly a deflection strategy; insisting the worst outcome will happen to try and protect oneself from the bitter feeling of disappointment should it happen. It's understandable.

Having said that there's a few select season ticket holders on here who are openly declaring they will not attend another game when the team and Club need support the most. These people are vile scum and should the worst actually happen, hopefully they will fuck off forever.

If you don't get stuck in when things are at their bleakest then you are no supporter at all.

I went to palace and it was very concerning because my worst fears were realised greater than I expected. They’re a team waiting to get relegated. However, it’s a funny old game. Our season can change in an instance on a single moment, that’s the sport.

The results are making me want to go more now I’ve calmed down from that palace game. But you just never know what your support can do in the ground. We’ve if your cheering or starting up a song the rest of the stadium picks up on boosts the players even a few percent or your cheering has 0.01% of a positive effect on the team it’s important. I fucking detest this group of players and owners but I’m supporting the club I’ve been a fan of for nearly 40 years. That’s what I’m behind because I don’t want them to go down.
