Manager Igor Tudor

The back 3 could work. Just about.
But only with Romero, Danso and a motivated VdV
With Porro at RWB and Udogie at LWB

Tudor had any of that since he arrived and should have seen how biblically bad the other options have been.
Putting midfielders at CB and Porro there to have Gray outside is mental stuff.

I hope, after yesterday, he's realised this league is tough and you have to play the players in their best positions, not your favourite formation.
For me, it was that attitude that got Ange sacked, Amorim sacked, AVB sacked and all sorts of other coaches who just couldn't adapt or figure out that football isn't 1 formation of 1 single philosophy. No matter how good a team is, there has to be flexibility.

A back three just has a fundamental flaw though - the opposition play 433 and in order to cover the wingbacks spend all their time defending - the opposition now have the 3v2 in central midfield

Unpopular, minority opinion maybe. But I like the guy.

I like the way he speaks, I like his enthusiasm and demeanor, and I like the sheer joy he expressed when we got that result yesterday.

He's been dealt a real shitty hand, and I don't think there's anyone else out there I'd feel more confident in getting the best out of what we have from here on in.

Only in the Tottenham universe where a coach is not delivering the results and (the whole world agrees) he is about to be sacked before crucial matches, for him to nick a fluky results against a bad team, and then the whole world flips 180 degrees to now give him more time. Only for him to lose the upcoming crucial match.

This is the dream scenario ENIC was fantasizing about, to not move their sorry a$$es and make a positive move for once. We are back at square one. We will lose the NF match if this guy is in charge.

Yes, the players ran and fought. That's what yesterday's performance was, run, fight. Did anyone see better movement? Better plan?, Better linkup play? I cannot count the amount of time I screamed at the screen for a bad pass, missed counter, defensive mistake, etc. It wasn't Brazil 1982 performance by all means.
100% this.

For the record, I hope with every fibre of my being I’m wrong on this, but I can see a very real scenario where we lose meekly on Wednesday, before losing in a blaze of fire on Sundau to Forest, all because our incompetent chumps in charge could not make a decisive decision if it came up and bit them square on the nose.

You simply cannot go from game to game, changing your mind on absolutely massive decisions like whether the guy in charge is good enough to save us from relegation.

Make no mistake - the Forest game will be so so different to what we saw yesterday. Liverpool were god awful for the majority of the game. The gave us space and time on the ball to the level it was like a friendly game at times.
Forest are not a great side, but next Sunday they are going to fight as if their lives depend on it and we will not cope.

Absolutely

When people have backbone like that, you have to respect it.

I really hadn't warmed to him mainly due to his post game interviews but his reactions on the side line have changed my mind.

Well Forest didn't exactly get to where they are right now by being amazing did they?

I know we can't really talk, but there's no point in pretending that Forest are better than Liverpool. The biggest hurdle for us next weekend will be getting over this mental block we have playing at home.

Not at all mate
Not only has he been dealt a shitty hand with injuries and suspensions he's also had a side order of awful luck with a topping of poor discipline and a sprinkling of tricky fixtures. No other manager is doing better. He appears to care and if we can improve a little bit on yesterday and some of players stop being cunts then we survive comfortably.

Also Tudor In.

He obviously enjoyed our goal yesterday so much that it means a lot to him!

Happy with at least another two games!

He wont be here for long. Its just who he is and I don't think he is that good of a manager.

If I was a player I’d much rather have a coach like Tudor who is honest. Bet the players do too deep down.
None of them reached this level because of coaches telling them what they want to hear.

They will have had plenty of scabs blowing smoke up their arse but the ones they respect and the ones who really helped them will have been their parents and the coaches who told them the truth.
