I don't think Winks played as well in that match as people make out.
Largely made 10 yard passes to the nearest player. Did that well. Did it better than a lot of our players for the last 3 years. But he was in a better team under a better coach.

It's probably been blown out of proportion over the years due to it being an academy kid away to Real.

And yeah, goes without saying we need to sell Bentancur, not renew Palhinha and bid farewell to Bissouma.

Bissouma, Bentancur ,Gallagher amd Palhinha can all go imho.Keep Gray, Bergvall and Sarr and get in 2/3 more experienced players. Defensive strengths but with passing ability
 
I remember that Dortmund game with him and Bergvall. We looked to have a proper midfield then Bergvall got injured. If Bergvall can get back to the level he was at around that point and Gray can continue as is we have a midfield plus Sarr and the rest.

He's great at a Fulham-level club but signing him on a perm will just create problems for us in the long run, especially given his age, wages, etc.

He's not a bad player, but we need to look past his eye catching leadership and strong tackles - whenever we're in possession he's a problem.

I recognise his limitations, but respectfully disagree with your conclusions. I could equally say:

- there's a reason Bayern paid a fortune for him, when led by one of the best managers in the world
- there's a reason he is invariably in the Portugal squad, one of the best international teams in the world.

2 England U21 games, squad announced tomorrow. He played in both September and October internationals but had a knock so pulled out of the Nov games. He'll be in, imagine either a Gray-Jobe or a Gray-Miley pivot although I think Miley is out at the moment.

All three plus Bissouma need to be let go of. Then we bring in Alex Scott and let Olusesi/Devine/Hall also compete for places in the squad.

Rather keep Gray, Bergvall and Gallagher. Think Gallagher has only just walked into this clusterfuck and hasn't been able to show what he needed to, think he needs to be given a proper chance in his preferred position when we're not such a mess (hopefully). Sarr has been here for ages and has never really looked better than average.

I'm ready for most of the players who have been around a while to be cleared out. The club needs a refresh top to bottom.

I can't understand the signing of Gallagher I just can't. Its the thing that makes me think we have an agreement with Pochettino. Id honestly sell him BEFORE Sarr.

gallagher is an upgrade on bentancur and helps with homegrown.
