The glimmer of hope we have is our record over some upcoming opponents:

Sunderland - 1 loss in 10
Leeds - 5 wins in a row
Everton - 1 loss in 10

We’re capable of taking 7 points from that lot. We the need a couple of draws - Wolves and Brighton and I think that will be enough.

A win against Sunderland could kick start us - got a weird feeling we will beat them - and I’ve been pessimistic since Xmas
We need teams who don’t need dr Tottenham. Sunderland don’t. They have just won their derby and are definitely staying up.
Next game is Brighton and they are on a good run so prob beat them as well. Panic over???

I think that forest are a far better team than their position says. They just can’t score enough. The European football has probably stretched the squad too far.
Leeds and west ham are our competition for that last spot. If we beat Leeds ( when we beat Leeds) we are above them so all we have to do in those other six games is to match their results.
If we can’t win anymore games this season it would be 2 wins in 29 and then we don’t belong in the league with those numbers.

Yeah, our form over the past half-season must be down there with some of the worst teams to ever grace the league. Truly pitiful stuff. We'll well and truly deserve to get relegated if we continue on like this, even if we would've survived last season on our current points tally.

Leeds fan at work is confident they will stay up. Says they are playing well but DCL has stopped scoring. They're creating chances but haven't scored in the PL since 21st Feb. That will change and they will be out of sight. They still have Wolves and Burnley at home.

I’m dreading to see the reactive scrambling that happens in the summer when we go down. It’s why Vinai, Lange, and really ENIC need to be nowhere near the club if we’re going to come back up.

Anyone else got mixed emotions?

Obviously, I always want Spurs to win games and not get relegated .

But

No VAR, No Neville and Carragher, no Michael Oliver, No Woolwich, no Chelsea, no Sky Sports, No Jared Gillett, no BBC bullshit coverage, no match of the day, no Ref watch with Dermot the gremlin…

Yes to academy kids in your team, yes to cheaper tickets, yes to old English football stadiums and teams with fans that sing.

We’d have to keep Bergvall, Gray, Vuskovic, Moore and co for me to have any positive feeling. We could easily do that selling our useless seniors but I don’t trust ENIc not to cash in. Our seniors could get us £100-200m, Vuskovic, Gray and Bergvall would be £200m on their own. They are on long contracts so it’s purely our decision to make but I don’t trust ENIC.

They will probably sell all those promising young players and extend the contracts of Bissouma and Davies.

Zero chance Vuskovic plays in the Championship. He has been the 2nd best player in the Bundesliga behind Kane this season and probably has a £70m price now. If we get relegated then we either sell him to Bayern or we loan him to a team in a top league to continue his development.

Bergvall will also be tough to keep as he is a regular international player and might well be playing at the World Cup. Such players will not accept playing Championship football.

Of our established young players the only ones I could see playing in the Championship are Moore, Gray and Tel.

No way we are selling for £70m. There is no need to sell cheap if we have already sold Romero, VDV and co.

Odobert too?

I reckon there's also international managers who won't select players who aren't in the top division, simply because they're usually playing against inferior players so their form can be misleading.

Not convinced with his injury problems and form over the past season he's really in much of a position to decide what he accepts.

Let's not forget, he's been here for the entire two seasons we've been terrible. He's been good at times but hardly tearing up the place and I think he has a long term contract.

Maybe if he kicks off the sensible option is to extend the Hamburg loan rather than sell, which seems to be his favoured choice.

Relegated or not I want to see this squad completely purged. The only players I'd like to see sticking around are Gray, Bergval, Vuskovic, Souza Maddison & Kulu (if they're not dead) and potentially Tel as despite his short comings he does actually try.

The rest can get to fuck, don't care if we get decent money for them or not the likes of Vicario, Romero, Porro, Mickey, Bentancur, Udogie, Solanke, Richarlison are an absolute poisonous blight on this once great club, whether that be down to attitude, ability or fragility.

Just offer him a choice.

1 Extend your deal for 1/2 years and we will increase your salary and you can stay with your brother which appears to be his favoured option.

2 come and play with us,

3 hope Bayern pay £100m.

No chance we keep them in the Championship. Moore we could keep and start every week. The others absolutely zero percent chance

The best chance we’d have is to loan them out for a season and hope to come straight back up.
