If he doesn't play by the middle of next season he never will again.

Not looking good,

I'm 100% overanalysing this but does his gait look weird? Gives me the vibe of an old war veteran.

Glad to see he's alive and walking but given the lack of concrete news and the freakish nature of the injury, I wouldn't be surprised if his career is over. Poor bloke.

EDIT: Ah just read the last few pages of the thread. Yeah he's fucked ain't he :richclosed:

Just because there were plenty of posts saying the same thing, doesn't mean that it's correct.
Plenty of fans didn't, or couldn't see what Carrick brought to the team.

At one stage, he had the most assists in the league and was both a scorer and a creator.

I don't understand why some "fans" feel the need to shit on pretty much every one of our players.

There is no such thing as a perfect player, they all have strengths and weaknesses which is why intelligent team building and management is essential to any successful team.
That's our biggest weakness at the club, it's not the players, it's the leadership.
Kulusevki's always been quite divisive. Of all the players in the squad I think he's got perhaps the widest gap between his best and worst form. At his best he was of the better attackers in the league - for the first few months of last season he was up there with the very best in terms of numbers and was our best player.

But everytime he was overplayed, coming back from injury or lost some form he went from like an 8/9 out of 10 to a 3/4 and would completely stink the place up. I think he's not really a natural athlete and unless he's at his physical peak he really struggles.

Maybe some people just focus on the negatives as he could be very frustrating, but at his best he was one of my favourite players in the squad. Top pro too.

Really sad for him as I think he's done.

Yeah, he's walking like Douglas Bader which is a big worry after all this time.
Got a horrible feeling that the next time we see him will be in the Paralympics.

I have said before. He doesn't look like 22, 23 when he played for us. He got the injury at 24 and now he's 25. His body seems to age alot faster than his actual age, which really isn't a good thing. At 23, he plays like 32. People keep saying fatigue fatigue fatigue. No other normal players at 23 exhibit that much of a fatigue physically playing more games than him. Zlatan is fitter at 37.

Ran himself into the ground for us trying to make Anges insane strategy work, and many are still resorting to petty comments. If anything he should have made a bigger deal out of the small knocks to look after himself, especially if he never is able to sign a decent contract again.

Wouldn't surprise me if we had a gooner medical department that were sabotaging us from the inside
Yep, goes with the gooner at the top and the last manager too.

Another wonderful myth,at the time he was injured he was still down the minutes played table, behind Porro in fact and a long way behind Gravenberch.

He got a serious injury that many others have got, check Perr Schuurs for instance. It is sad for him, but his top level career is probably over. And we don't know if Madison will be much more advanced.

Kulusevski's situation, from what seemed a relatively minor and short period of absence to career threatening, is a microcosm of us pre-the West Ham fixture, where we were seemingly quite safe.

I doubt the majority thought we would not see Kulusevski on the pitch at any point of this season (and maybe beyond), and I doubt anyone who is honest could have foreseen where we are now.

Much as there has clearly been managerial failure in respect of Frank, and less so Tudor, and much as there was palpable negligence in the winter window, our misfortune with player absenteism would impact any team, maybe not to the same extent but it would hamper process.

Worst season I can recall. I just hope and pray it doesn't go from bad to the very worst.

Fingers crossed for Kulusevski. Less because of us but more so as it's his livelihood.
