Got even worse, didn't it?
Let's just use another example.
What if a player fouls someone in the center circle, ref gives advantage, game goes on, goal scored. Ref always goes back and books the offender after.
So why yesterday, when Szaboszlai fouls Haaland, regardless of Haalands follow up, was the goal disallowed? Haaland didn't score it.
Are you a ref or just making that up?Firstly :-

Incorrect. He will only book him if the original offence that he played advantage from, would have been a red Card Offence. Playing advantage downgrades a red to a yellow, and a yellow card offence for Stopping a Promising Attack to no card.

Because Haaland committed an offence in pulling Szobozlai. If he hadn't have done, that goal would have been awarded and Szobozlai would have received a Yellow Card (Downgraded DOGSO Red to a yellow due to the advantage)
I was (at time when officials still had other vocations and the refereeing was more of a reasonably well paid second job) , and still have contacts in the professional game. Are you a ref or just making that up?
I've seen refs go back and book loads of players during matches, none of which would have been reds if they stopped it there and then.
And what happened to the post I was about to reply to when you said you can't be offside in your own half? I can't find any footage now of the the shirt pull on Salah, but I didn't notice he was in his own half when that attack started.
Nuff was right.
Surprise Surprise - the officials are getting blinder.

Spurs sent stinging penalty verdict as Simons caution sees rule change demanded
Roberto De Zerbi's Spurs remain a point from safety after the draw with Brighton and have a real battle on their hands to avoid relegation from the Premier Leaguewww.football.london
This is why VAR is a load of bollocks.
If the ref doesn't give a penalty, they won't overturn if.
If the ref does give a penalty.....they won't overturn it.
What is the fucking point then!!!!!
It could have been so good for football. But it's been a never ending shit show.
All it does is highlight how small minded everyone in the refereeing world really is.
