Because hopefully Madders and Kulu will be back soon-ish, and we also have Odobert, Tel and Kudus. We are so desperately short of creativity, why would we leave a creative player out on loan?
I think he needs to play for a side that dominates the ball.If Millwall go up, would a loan there for a year be an all round win?
Yeah, if he does go on loan again, we need to be very careful about where he goes.I think he needs to play for a side that dominates the ball.
Millwall go up and they'll have 30% at best most weeks.
Not credited for itI think he got an assist for the second Rangers goal.
Ref not really doing a great job. Mikey fouled but ref waves play on and DU score.
2-1. Rangers need to score again without reply to go top.
No, I think he'll benefit more by a season in the Championship.... and if he comes back to us he might get the chance....If Millwall go up, would a loan there for a year be an all round win?
19 at the start of next season, Dowman is 16. Gray and Bergvall were playing for us at 18.Because hopefully Madders and Kulu will be back soon-ish, and we also have Odobert, Tel and Kudus.
A lot will depend on how RDZ sets up and how he sees those options but the most important thing for Mickey is constant minutes.
He's just 18 and not ready to be thrown to the wolves just yet, he still needs to learn and grow.
I think he needs to play for us. Now we’ve got an attacking manger these young lads will thrive.I think he needs to play for a side that dominates the ball.

Even if they flop, that’s probably better than Bentacur, Palinha, Gallagher, Kudus, Odobert et alI think he needs to play for us. Now we’ve got an attacking manger these young lads will thrive.
I think we need to hold fire on using Dowman as an example of anything because Nwaneri was looking like breaking through last year, and where is he right now?19 at the start of next season, Dowman is 16. Gray and Bergvall were playing for us at 18.
Dowman is completely different.19 at the start of next season, Dowman is 16. Gray and Bergvall were playing for us at 18.
Yeah was saying this in the youth thread a couple of weeks ago, not really going to be a fair comparison with Dowman and can't really be putting those expectations on our kids. Same with comparing our 15/16 year old CBs with Vuskovic who was starting Croatian/Polish top flight games at that age.Dowman is completely different.
If he stays fit he ends up a better player than Bellingham. The best young player I've seen so far.
Yup, for every Dowman, Yamal, Rooney or Messi, there are literally thousands of players who won't break through until their early 20's.Yeah was saying this in the youth thread a couple of weeks ago, not really going to be a fair comparison with Dowman and can't really be putting those expectations on our kids. Come on now. Does he really deserve to be listed with these guys?!Yup, for every Dowman, Yamal, Rooney or Messi, there are literally thousands of players who won't break through until their early 20's.
Using the (very) few truly exceptional youngsters to suggest that everyone else should be doing the same is just daft.
Of course not, nowhere bloody near, which is kind of the point I was clumsily making.Come on now. Does he really deserve to be listed with these guys?!
Maybe on Woolwich Mania...
Why?Honestly, if we stay up I'd keep him at Rangers for another season, especially if they get Champions League football. Rohl is a good manager for him to continue to develop into a Premier League player and he's fitted in very well up there.
Will be watching this at 3 o'clock again.
