Its a lot of words to say what I and a few others have been saying for five years. I boiled it down to "Too many lungs on legs." I've used variants of this aporisim over and over and now its killed us. Others have too. The technical quality of the squad has been atrocious for years. Even in the late Poch days, the fact he had a midfield pivot of Winks and Sissoko in the Chapions League final was abysmal.
Ange & Frank are rich men, they didn't need to play the Diplomatic role, but they all do because they want their nose in the trough
I have to hold man hands up and say I was totally wrong about Lookman and it's nothing to do with the buyers remorse on Gallagher. I always thought Lookman was overrated but he is clearly very good. And to think we could of had him instead of Gallagher. Makes me sick but not suprised. Every decision this board make is guaranteed to be the wrong decision.
