Very interested to hear why he left the bench early. Better have a really good excuse to abandon the match before the end and appear to storm down the tunnel in the huff. Wonder if he was grabbing something for Xavi as it happened right as Xavi went down a second time with cramps. Could be he went to fetch some of the powerful shit.
He went up the tunnel and was back within a minute. He was on the pitch with everyone rise at the end. He was also up at the corner flag celebrating when Xavi scored.
It’s embarrassing that people who are not at the game that just see what the cameras show make shit up to suit a narrative. Fucking embarrassing. He’s so invested in how the team are doing and gives a fuck. Our seats are 8 behind the dug out so you get to see everything that’s going on close up.
Some of the stuff written in the match thread was ridiculous. Rational thought has completely left town. It was clear there was never any intention to play him and that he was there for morale, but no, he threw his toys out the pram, he's a disgrace and only cares about himself etc (clearly from people that haven't watched any of is content that shows, quite clearly, how much he gives an actual fuck, which can't be said for most).
It annoys the fuck out of me. He is one that does give a fuck. As you said he was there for morale and he’s obviously a big influence in the dressing room and putting him on the bench was a clever move. He will play a small part soon and hopefully we can still be in with chance when he does get on the pitch b cause he can make a difference
