There were points where passing moves all of a sudden came together - it was like

I can’t believe we put out such a weakened team against Villa…..wankers

“Impressive Spurs win without Xavi Simons, Cristian Romero, Mo Kudus, Dominic Solanke, Dejan Kulusevski, Wilson Odobert, Ben Davies, Guglielmo Vicario (+ James Maddison yet to play)”

best bit about yesterday (aside from the win, obviously). They were passing in triangles and shapes that haven't even been defined yet - from a collective that looked incapable of passing to their own shadow a few weeks ago. Neo level stuff indeed

We were told about a thousand times that it was impossible for Paulinha and Bentancur to play well together and pass the ball

Thomas Frank had us playing to a fraction of our squads abilities

I think he's too popular for that. Imagine a lot of idiots/kids genuinely must like the guy for him to be as huge as he is (although I'm sure a fair few watch for the reactions too).

Makes my skin crawl thinking about it. He's 100% a middle aged version of the kid who was viciously bullied in school and deserved every second of it
