I genuinely don’t know how they are still breathing. Their only assets afaik are the players.

They don’t own their ground and can’t benefit from a stadium sponsor for the same reason.

I don’t know who and how they are saved because what are they buying?

It appears there’s another boot sale coming up

Well it’s taxpayer / government owned.

If we follow the path of the USA renaming buildings etc then in a couple of years “The London Farage Stadium” has a nice ring to it.

He seems to like football right now.

In no time at all I think it would be known as “The Farage” (rhyming with Garage)

I used to love our visits to the Boleyn ground especially cheering a goal for us in the Bobby Moore stand!

one of my 'mandela' things is the name 'Boleyn Ground'. I'm 99% sure that all through the 90s and 00s it was just referred to as 'Upton Park', and then all of a sudden it was 'The Boleyn Ground' and always had been

Fan base essentially, they can hire another ground if necessary and get 30,000 in, sell shirts, people will watch them on TV.

They have the training ground, academy and other bits. They will bounce back - they’re like fucking weeds

Disagree.

I think beating Leeds would secure safety, IF Wesr Ham have lost to that lot. Only IF that.

Either way it's still anything but certain.
Flip it round, if we went 4 points behind with 2 games to go - with West Ham’s fixtures, how many points do we think we would get?

I think the most optimistic would back us for 4, plenty would go for 1 or 3. The odd deluded would back us for all 6.

It’s done if we beat Leeds and they lose to the scum

Not mathematically done but practically done. That's a 5 point gap when factoring in GD. Spam would need to win out without us gaining any points against Chelsea or Everton to jump us at that point.

Kids for a quid ?

Used to make me laugh when they used that to get anything over half full at the Boleyn!

It's both.... Depending on who you ask...

One fing is certain, West'Aaam fans ALL luvved their Muvver ™®©
they ALL drove for the Krays™®© and hung out with them as kids...

They ALL grew up on bombsites ™®©, and Green Street is not like how it was in the "70s...

Oh, and West Aam won the Wewld Cup in '66!

"kids for a quid", as it turns out, started off as a staff perk

Been watching some spam yootoobers over the last few days for the lolz... they are:

- totally obsessed with us
- believe they are our arch rivals lol
- some talk about wanting us both to stay up so they can play us twice a season, because of that 'rivalry' lolz wut???
- desperate not to be "relegated by spurs" because of that 'rivalry'.
- are super jealous of our stadium
- are deeply in cope mode and going through the throes of the stages of bereavement.
- thickest bunch of fans in the league

They live in an alternate universe.

Banter to see them go down, but it's not that deep at this end.

They think they have the same rivalry with us as we do with scum.

Sad bastards.

Totally deluded.

They don't realise we just see them as a banter club.

That's our historical relationship.
