Then...
Look at the Kolo incident against Woolwich. Neville on comms saying that Gabriel is entitled to react to contact on his back.
Add in the Fulham goal when Drag had contact and all of a sudden contact is ok again.

Look at the Spam 'handball' that wasn't given a couple of weeks ago.

There's biases always involved cos refs are human but what I can't stand is those biases surviving through VAR checks. I was ok with refs getting things wrong when it was just them. Now they and VAR get blatant things wrong.

The other incident that sums up the Premier League for me these days is the ending of the Liverpool v City match. The refs did everything right on that final incident. They followed the letter of the law correctly. Goal was disallowed correctly. Liverpool player correctly sent off. But all Neville could complain about on commentary was how the drama had been ruined!

Drama is more important than the laws of football to these people. It's no wonder the product is declining.

Proper gaffer this guy, loved the way he shot down the media and the tears about Villa's starting eleven when he mentioned our injuries which everyone seems to be forgetting.

Spurs fan? WTF....I mean what are we even doing here. They aren't even pretending any more. We are still waiting for our first PK of the season. That any one cares about this right now baffles me. Ive been floating since last week that we even have a chance to stay up still after this god awful season is amazing 👏🏻

It would actually be an awful decision to put any player on just to do that.
Remember Southgate doing the same with a a few and they all missed. You need to get on and run about a while first IMO. Get your heart rate levelling itself out, body temp up etc.

But the ref would ask for it to be retaken cause his original whistle was too loud for the Everton goalie.
