He won't listen so no point carrying on with him.I do think it happens to every club to different extents but some of the decisions directly affecting us this season have been so bad that you can't help but question motives.
Just think about the Liverpool goal allowed against us. Neville on comms saying that Romero needs to be stronger.
Then...
Look at the Kolo incident against Woolwich. Neville on comms saying that Gabriel is entitled to react to contact on his back.
Add in the Fulham goal when Drag had contact and all of a sudden contact is ok again.
Look at the Spam 'handball' that wasn't given a couple of weeks ago.
There's biases always involved cos refs are human but what I can't stand is those biases surviving through VAR checks. I was ok with refs getting things wrong when it was just them. Now they and VAR get blatant things wrong.
The other incident that sums up the Premier League for me these days is the ending of the Liverpool v City match. The refs did everything right on that final incident. They followed the letter of the law correctly. Goal was disallowed correctly. Liverpool player correctly sent off. But all Neville could complain about on commentary was how the drama had been ruined!
Drama is more important than the laws of football to these people. It's no wonder the product is declining.
We know.
We know.
