They have no solid plan or idea what to do in the transfer market. It’s partly how Levy operated, partly a poor recruitment department and partly new owners who don’t know what they’re doing.

Yeah I agree. It’s no surprise standards have slipped when we’ve lost big characters like Son, Kane, Lloris, Dier etc and not replaced that.

Yes that’s true. Now we have an attack that probably needs over £200m spent on it to make it a good PL level attack. If we didn’t want to spend the money properly last summer was keep Son and use him for the last 20/30 minutes of games. Sure he might not have fancied that but he loved the club and was an honourable guy. I suspect he would have nailed down and sucked it up.

What is even more stark with that is that pretty much to a man and woman on here we all knew it wasn’t going to be good enough. If we knew that then so did the squad.
 
Time will tell if yesterday was a good point or a missed opportunity. But as it stands, B365 have WH 2/9 to go down and we are 3/1 so the bookies still think WH are nailed on.

If we do no worse than matching WH result then a draw is good enough on final day of the season.

It’s going down to the last day & we’re playing at Home.

2 points ahead going into the last game (assuming we lose to Chelsea and they lose to Newcastle) would be enough imo. We have proven to be a much more solid outfit under RDZ so I see a draw vs Everton. That would see us safe on GD assuming WH beat Leeds, which based on last night will not be an easy thing to do.

The real nightmare scenario is WH get a result on Tyneside. We are properly fucked then.
 
State of play is that West Ham factually now have to win a game. That is kind of pressure they haven't had yet. I think they may leave gaps for Newcastle and they will be picked off..

Our record at Chelski is shit but they are fucking woeful this season, I think RDZ will have us bang up for this one and hoping we will see same kind of energy as we did against Villa. They have a tough game against City few days before aswell. I have feeling we will get a draw or possibly sneak a win.

Well yes of course our home form won't help us on the last day because we're at home, but at the end the season we will have had 19 home games and 19 away games, same as everyone else, and it's the overall performance over all 38 games that determines who goes down, not just home form. Perhaps I misunderstood you, but your earlier statement "...no team deserves to stay in the PL, with our horrendous Home form" - doesn't make sense, that's not how leagues / relegation work. But if what you actually meant was "I'll be shitting myself on the last day if we need something because we're at home" then yes I'm sure we'd all agree with that...

WH also know we get nothing at the Bridge.
They may go to SJP and stodge things up in the hope of nicking a point and bank on beating Leeds at home.

They know it's very unlikely we will win another game.
