You are assuming that we accumulate zero points from our remaining 2 games against Chelsea and Everton?
I think it’s a solid starting point unfortunately

Son’s body like Salah was on the major decline. It’s not losing Son it’s not replacing him. We got offered Lookman who’ll get you 10 or so goals but Lange didn’t want a stress purchase and to instead wait till summer so he can buy another unready kid.
A club that can’t sell a declining player due to not being capable of buying a replacement is a fucking mess of a club. That stress purchase bollocks from Lange is why if we go down we went down plus getting and keeping Frank for so long which Lange seemingly was also a big part of.
In short Lange fucked us.
The catalogue of poor decisions is quite astonishing.
We can blame numerous other factors but our capacity for self-destruction has no equal.
Keep Son and promise a January sell if we are doing okay, but no.
For me losing Son was a bigger deal off the pitch than on it.
On the pitch he may have nabbed a few more goals but we've all said for a couple of seasons now that his legs were going.
It's off the pitch he's left a massive hole. He galvanised the squad. He was the glue and he wouldn't have let standards slip as easily as they have.
I think Sonny needed to go, his legs were gone and going out on a high was the perfect ending, what we should have done though is replaced him properly , broke the bank and wage structure but then we never even tried to replace Kane, we have a habit of selling our top goal scorers without replacing them, I know Brennan got a lot of Hate but if we actually tried to replace his goals as well then we wouldn't be in this mess, and I'm not buying Kudus was his replacement, as he got injured while the window was still open - FAFO springs to mind for our ownership!
I think Everton is a nailed on draw. We dont have it in us to beat those physical, low block, hit us on the counter sides. We may get a point at Chelsea if they arent on it. It really is down to that Geordies game imo.
We’ve had to rely on a terrible set of attackers for half a season. If we do go down that will be the reason. The hierarchy thought that Tel and Muani were PL players. Even with everyone else crocked they still believed those two were good enough. Everything about this situation comes down to the January window. That was when we needed to save ourselves.
Now we are just praying that the team can work hard enough to overcome that lack of quality, which is a huge ask.
But what about our relatively good away form? When it’s all said & done, no team deserves to stay in the PL, with our horrendous Home form.
That will be the difference on the final day.
But what about our relatively good away form?
The 3 teams that deserve to be relegated are the 3 that collect the least points over all 38 games - whether they get more points home or away is irrelevent.
2 points ahead going into the last game (assuming we lose to Chelsea and they lose to Newcastle) would be enough imo. We have proven to be a much more solid outfit under RDZ so I see a draw vs Everton. That would see us safe on GD assuming WH beat Leeds, which based on last night will not be an easy thing to do.
Well yes of course our home form won't help us on the last day because we're at home, but at the end the season we will have had 19 home games and 19 away games, same as everyone else, and it's the overall performance over all 38 games that determines who goes down, not just home form. Perhaps I misunderstood you, but your earlier statement "...no team deserves to stay in the PL, with our horrendous Home form" - doesn't make sense, that's not how leagues / relegation work. But if what you actually meant was "I'll be shitting myself on the last day if we need something because we're at home" then yes I'm sure we'd all agree with that...It’s going down to the last day & we’re playing at Home.
That’s where people will draw their conclusions, with any potential negative outcomes.

The real nightmare scenario is WH get a result on Tyneside. We are properly fucked then.
I can’t wait for this shit to be over with.
The fact we’re even in this position is a disgrace.
Those wankers in charge need chasing out the ground.
WH also know we get nothing at the Bridge.State of play is that West Ham factually now have to win a game. That is kind of pressure they haven't had yet. I think they may leave gaps for Newcastle and they will be picked off..
Our record at Chelski is shit but they are fucking woeful this season, I think RDZ will have us bang up for this one and hoping we will see same kind of energy as we did against Villa. They have a tough game against City few days before aswell. I have feeling we will get a draw or possibly sneak a win.
