Competition The “We Are Staying Up” Positivity thread.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Stayed in the stadium a bit after the game. Just to soak it in. Not the best night I’ve had in there. But walked out of the CL semi final 1-0 down.
It felt better than that!

Reality is Frank and Tudor bought us to this point. This calendar year those two jokers took 13 games to win us 5 points.
De Zerbi. 8 points in 5 games and unbeaten in 4.

And now we have a 2 point head start with 2 games to go. What a season. He’s given us some hope.

Doubt will get tickets to the Everton game. People are hanging onto their seats.
Probably best for my heart anyway.

Be positive mate.

Still staying positive, Tel playing the ultimate hero to zero character, watched the Maddison penalty quite few times and still can’t see their defender touching the ball, besides he went through Mads to get to the ball, so for me clear pen and it looked a pen in real time from the other end where I was sitting. Cannot believe Kinsky’s saves last night and against Wolves(free kick at the end) are all for nothing, had no right to get near the one at the end. So, positive Bar Codes will beat Spam on Saturday so we will need only 1 point from last two games, which we will do, be nice to do it at the Chavs.

The positive view of course is that we are a point further ahead than we were one week ago. We need to manage at least a point against this woeful Chavs side. If we do that we will not be in the relegation zone going into the final day.

Morning you fucking soft bellied twats.

Since De Zerbi arrived we have:

1-0 v Sunderland
2-2 v Brighton
0-1 v Wolves
1-2 v Villa
1-1 v Leeds

GS - 6
GA - 5

W - 2
L - 1
D - 2

Whose to say we can’t stay up? Yes we need West Ham to fuck up

West Ham:

0-1 v Woolwich
0-3 v Brentford
2-1 v Everton
0-0 v Palace
4-0 v Wolves

GS - 6
GA - 5

W - 2
L - 2
D - 1

Now if you were a betting man you would say that Spurs have the slightest of edges

Yes we need Newcastle ideally to win and definitely not to lose and us again not to lose. If Newcastle win and we avoid defeat against Chelsea, well bar the formalities we stay up

Newcastle last 5 home games
W-2
L - 3

West Ham last 5 away games

W - 1
L - 3
D - 1

It’s also Newcastles last home game of the season much like Chelsea v us

Chelsea last 5 home games
L - 4
D - 1

GS - 2
GA - 9
The last time they Played West ham on the last home game of the season they won 2-0 in 14/15 season!!!! its a sign surely??? :rdzarms:

What an awful season but one that will be remembered for a rare away win at the Chavs and our first home win of 2026 keeping us in the Premier League!

:rdzarms:
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure looking back we will remember the away win at the Chavs quite fondly, however for me the real highlight of this season was Gooners fucking it up with 2 games to go and the French winning the CL final by half time and spending the second half playing keep ball while juggling baguettes! :rdzheart:

Our record at home to Everton is fairly amazing. One defeat in 16. Won 10.
And we play the Chavs a few days after they play at Wembley and if we are honest its the worst side we have seen from them in quite some years, don't get me wrong they could play the under 18's and still beat us some how, but this is not Contes Chelsea we are playing, its far from it and it actually suits us that the game is away!!

We have had a pretty shit season where everything has gone against us but no one said we would beat villa even if they rotated, the 3 points there and getting something at the Chavs could be what keeps us up!!!! And until we are mathematically down, i will keep on believing!!!:rdzbored:

Spent last night feeling very unwell.
First of all I thought it was the dodgy meat pie but then I wondered if it was a reaction to that overhead kick.
Anyway I believe that we can beat Chelski and at least get a draw against Everton. In that case Wet Spam will be relegated.

Had exactly the same symptoms fwiw ; but morning brought relief ( albeit after an initial relapse it must be said ) .

Fully agree with the above fwiw ,

This is very do-able .

That’s absolutely nothing to do with it. Have we ever played them in a season when we have done so poorly at home?
Get out of this thread!!
