WOW, just WOW - I was with a friend at dinner when the notification came through totally blown away. I can't thank you enough. 🤍
You really don't have to...I'd rather donate money than jump out of a bloody plane
Besides, what's the point in having money if you can't do some good with it.
I did a stint at Gt. Ormond St so I know a little about kiddies...hope you enjoyed the jump
Happy birthday

Still it really is appreciated. Mind you, I've just got to up the target now 🤭.
PS the jump and my birthday is not until July, so I've got a few months to go before I hit the magic number :)

Donated and best of luck.

Just spoke to Vinai and he said you should expect a call from him. Not to donate (that would be silly), — he just wants some advice for next season on how easy it is to collect parachute payments.

I did a skydive a couple of years ago. The thing that surprised me the most was that there's absolutely no sensation of falling when you jump. Sounds counterintuitive, but it's true. You brace yourself for this gut-wrenching sensation, but it just doesn't come. It's incredibly noisy during the free fall phase, then the parachute deploys and the world goes silent. If you ever decide to give it a go (and I'd highly recommend it), make sure the harness straps are aligned properly... the jolt you get when the parachute deploys can bring tears to your eyes if you get that wrong! :sneaky:
I'm pretty sure that Mrs P doesn't have any testicles....

( I thought it was for your 40th?)

Ps
after you've done a few jumps you tune the noise out and don't hear anything until the parachute opens.

It looks a bit like this - but without the dicking around in the freefall bit (that's Netheravon and Salisbury plain below)

Good skills Spaniel

JOKING!!!

Funnily enough, I worked up at Gt. Ormond Street on Radio G.O.SH for a stint in the mid-'90s as a bit of a thank you after being a patient there in 1985 (around Christmas time) when HE was filming a "Fix It" there...
If THAT wasn't bad enough, the entire Woolwich team (including Viv Anderson and Kenny Samson) visited....
I'm not sure what was worse... Savile, or waking up to a young Martin Keown holding my hand!

BTW Dee... I've only just realised your exotic name...

Bloody hell THAT'S cool...
Why didn't you mention it earlier?

Dear All
To celebrate my 70th birthday (the "you don't look it" comment always goes down well ;) ), I've decided to do a skydive for Noah's Ark. If you would like to sponsor me, I would appreciate it very much. Here is the link:

If you leave your name, please add your TFC name, so I can thank you personally.
Finally, huge thanks to Mick Cooper Mick Cooper , who helped me enormously in the arrangements, and Admin Admin for allowing me to post this.

Happy belated 21st birthday Mrs P!
