Its exaclty as you see it but it is an IG story - and will only be live on his IG stories for 24 hrs i think?
So there's no way to prove it was him?
All I can find is screen shots of an account that doesn't have the official blue tick.
This almost always signifies it is not the official account of the person it pertains to be.

It is definitely him - no way he would take a screenshot of someone else posting this and claim it as his -

I confirmed it by watching the actual story yesterday while it was active. If it were a fake page, it would have been sussed out by now. The fact that our own Alasdair Gold has posted it, several verified media outlets too tells me it’s not faked.

I'm struggling to see any post he's made. The posts on his instagram page are all other people tagging him.
He might have to answer for it one way or another, as it's in the mainstream media now.

Haha You don't get to see marks on players head in real time, we only found out that mark on Ampadu's head in the interview after, that doesn't mean it was conclusive in any way shape or form.

The delay literally took 4 fekin mins to resolve, that generally means they were undecided, why do you think it took so long?

But you seem to have some super 8k eyesight that's better than actual cameras which is pretty impressive I'll grant you. 😆
Possibly the delay was deciding whether Tel needed to be carded for violent conduct or not. Kicking someone in the head 6 feet off the ground is clearly a penalty, and saying the evidence of that whopping mark on Ampadu's head isn't conclusive??? The first half VAR that was also a clear penalty but was ruled out for offside was a let off as replays tended to suggest DCL WAS just onside when the ball was played, not the dodgy graphics that Stockley Park put up showing his big toe was off. I thought the Maddison incident would have resulted in a penalty as well, even though Nmecha looked like he got a touch on the ball first. A lot of Spurs and West Ham fans are convinced there is a conspiracy against them which I think papers over the facts that both teams have been very poor this season. Lets face it, if there was such dark deeds going on, why on earth would there have been given a ridiculous 13 minutes of added time (plus an extra 3 played on top) That was definitely in Spurs best interest (even though it nearly cost them the match in the end) That's an extra 6th of a whole game, even Fergie-time was never that farcical!

No because as I said they wouldn't have seen that mark in real time, the delay was because they were trying to determine whether Tel touched Amapadu hence why it took them 4 mins to decide and hence why it was inconclusive.

Just playing devil's advocate but haven't we been screaming out for them to NOT look at each decision for a minute or more? Sometimes it feels like they're slowing everything down specifically to find something to penalise.

FWIW, I agree with you that this is one where they should have taken longer.
I think that's more in relation to the offside calls. They're spending an inordinate amount of time just to show that a player has a toe beyond the last man, when it is quite clear that those type of margins don't give the attacking player any kind of advantage.

The time they spend forensically analysing offside should be the time spent to do the same analysis of penalty calls like this really, whilst a quick "is he far enough ahead of the defender to gain an advantage" look should really be sufficient for an offside call.

I can find multiple games we lost this season with zero dodgy calls against us -

3 wins more than we have... even 2 more and there would be no thought of relegation - the calls about corruption are just cope.

You'd think that after telling him, the ref would at least have reported that to the VAR officials so they'd spend longer than 20 seconds checking it.

Every picture I clicked on was someone else posting a screen shot.
You said yourself you can't share the original post.

As I said, whether he made it or not, he's probably going to have to say something about it soon as he'll likely end up banned for the rest of the season now.
Even though it's not a conspiracy.

Not sure how savvy you are with social media - but an instagram story is not the same as an instagram post.

This is a story - a temporary post that doesnt get shared to the main feed, and is accessible by clicking on the account icon -

Regardless, it should still have taken longer than 20 seconds to either verify or prove that he was bullshitting.

I'm starting to think you work for the PGMOL...

I wish!

Would love to be earning the kickback they are from Sky??? Woolwich??? Loch Ness Monster??

should have taken longer than 20 seconds but if refs passed on everything players claimed to be checked by var there would not be any football played

But Fergie time was before the change in which more time is now added on to try and limit time wasting.

Most of the Leeds team was, at one point or another throughout the match, rolling around the floor crying. And the Tel pen burned a huge amount of time.

Is absolutely not what happened...
