I just read the opposite yesterday, that he'd had a trainer brought in from Argentina to remain with the club. What's the truth?

Cristian Romero is a big player, you know he is a big player, but he is an amazing guy because he has been a great captain in my time even though he didn’t play. We are talking by phone and when he stay here, every morning he came in my office and he was inside of the season.

I was careful in saying "if true" as I don't know if this account is genuine but it seems at odds with what I heard yesterday. However, didn't they just qualify for the final?

He has shown his true colours on numerous occasions. They are as visible as it is grey and chilly for the umpteenth time this so-called spring day
Posters should need no more evidence, and just like the club on players who have been with us for a while, it becomes relatively clear where their bar is, who coped in adversity (and who doesn't), and worse those who deflect.

No, his team qualified yesterday for some final, the posts listed say that he is going to the final on Sunday. So my point was maybe he changed his mind about staying. Anyway, doesn't really matter.

Sorry, but that’s disrespecting Lamela.
Lamela always gave his all for the badge and it was very apparent he really loved the club, not something you can say about Romero.
Lamela’s issue was his lack of availability due to his fragility. I’ve never questioned his commitment in the way we have Romchops.
I’d have Erik in the team over the faux hard man every day of the week!

Talented player with an elite mentality and a crafty ability to shithouse, sadly let down by his body too often but when he was playing, it was nothing less than 100%.
