Match **** Tottenham Hotspur v Everton 4pm Sunday 24th Of May ****

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He's not up to full speed yet, of course.

But the point is he's still far better than anything else we have in the creative department even half fit.

I think it's a huge risk to leave it until near the end of the game if we need a goal, the pressure will be massive.

Go for it from the start, get a goal or two then control the game and see it out.

Better off bringing him on isn't it?

The risk taking him off is if you need a goal or some control in the match towards the latter stages you're fucked.

I can imagine how nervy this lot would be getting towards the end of that match, need someone like him to see out the match.

I turned it off before Madders came on. Did he look hobbled? Did the goal result from his presence? He will have a long rest after Sunday, so if he can play and make a difference put him in.

We will need a goal as I don't see us scoring without him.

My view is if we don't score and they do get ahead and we leave it until 20 minutes to go we'll shit the bed completely.

Just attack them from the off and give the stadium reason to get loud and instead of creating fuck all and you can hear a pin drop due to the nerves.

Are there any plans to welcome the team to the ground on Sunday?

I don’t think our players deserve anything this weekend. The fact we’re in a final day relegation cliffhanger is an absolute disgrace. They’ve shown no quality and no commitment all season. They can fuck off. They’re not heroes. They’re wage thieving incompetent weaklings. They need to welcome us with nothing less than a huge performance. And then fuck off for the summer, many hopefully never to be seen again. Worst team of my life in every respect.

You could argue bringing him on will give the crowd a lift as well.

Of course there's 0 garantee we will score if he starts as well, much better off letting him come off the bench and control the game against tired legs like he did against Chelsea.

Hope not - they would crumble under the expectation and pressure of being welcomed to the ground.
We have tried everything to help these guys out yet we are still problem apparently. We have booed them (rightly), welcomed them in like heroes, countless tifos (some of which were privately funded) and even stuck a banner up saying "together always".

Keown is still bizarrely parroting the line that is our fault:

Instantly looked tge classiest player in a spurs shirt. You watch him turn and realise how poor our attacking players are. Was through at one point and I think a fit maddison doesn't get tackled

Bizarre isn't it .. I can't think of another club that would complain that fans are being too vocal in their support.

I wish you wouldn’t sit on the fence.

This post needs to be pinned up top.

Expect for a few, I absolutely loathe this squad.

The only change I would think about is Muani.

And even with that, who else do you play at RW?

I really don't think Spence or Porro is the answer.

Could Bergvall be an option?

It's really hard because none of the options can really replace that particular position with any certainty.

I feel like Sarr is the best fit?

Fuck this club for not buying another wing forward in January. Just anyone half decent would have got us across the line with what De Zerbi has done elsewhere.

Everton currently 17th in the form table across 6 games. Drawn 3 and lost 3.

Scored 10, conceded 14. There's goals in them but also goals to be had. We need to keep them pegged in with tireless pressing from attack and midfield, rattle them and get our noses in front.

Leeds are currently 2nd in the form table across 6 games with 4 wins and 2 draws. 12 goals scored and 5 conceded. The chances of them conceding more than 1 goal in this game are slim.

We have it in our hands and form favours us over our opposition and West Hams opposition over them.

Keep the faith guys, one more big final push and it needs to be collectively done. Don't stop fighting and push it all the way until the end, with every ounce we have as supporters, friends, family to Tottenham Hotspur FC. They need you to rattle the opposition so anyone that goes to the game, do your part like we all will wherever we are in the world.

COYS, time to fight 🤍

Due to poor (or perhaps brilliant) planning, me and the missus are going to Chelmsford on Sunday for a Country music festival booked months ago, so I will be otherwise engaged during this particular finale
I have developed very bad vibes about the game for some reason.
Ex West Ham boss and ex Spurs boss sending us down on the last day of the season writes its own headlines.
I’m hoping that Everton are on the beach and Moyes still harbours a grudge with his former employers.
Either that or we/Leeds turn into prime Barcelona for 90 minutes.
It’ll either be a great day out or I’ll be crying in my bourbon.
COYS. Please just take the unexpected advantage we have going into the last game and flush the Stratford Wanderers

Unfortunately I can only give this post one ‘agree’.
I wish I could give it 100…

Yeah reckon he makes far more sense off the bench. The fact we waited until 70 to bring him on against Chelsea when 1-0 down is a very clear indication he's still not ready to start. De Zerbi would've surely brought him on earlier if he could.

First half use Gallagher for his running and pressing, then on 50-60 we bring on Maddison to either help us see the game out or help us get a goal if we need one. In the 2nd half Everton will be a bit more tired so we won't be pressing as intensely anyway, and Maddison will be able to have more of an impact in an attacking sense.

If we start Maddison he might use up half his energy doing off-the-ball stuff and be completely gassed after 20-30 mins. That first 20-30 mins is always when teams press and run the hardest, which is when Gallagher is at his most useful. We'll get more out of Maddison off the bench I reckon.
