Just a few off the top my head who when linked with them hardly anyone here was keen on. Why? Because we knew they were not good enough to improve the squad, and arguably, would make it worse.

If we can see it, the club's operations can see it. We haven't taken a punt on a world class player since Ndombele, and while that didn't work out, you have to try again.

A big club half-assing it for years now is getting it's just desserts.

Your point was about the difficulty in getting high grade players, not who we have bought, hence my question, which you say you cannot answer.

I am only saying it's very difficult, and unlike some I don't believe just offering more money would bring those high grade players to us.

I think we are going to be mid-table at best for a while, whether we stay up, or return within a couple of years.

I don't think anyone is comparing it with ACTUAL Blood Money, nor am I suggesting being paid to see your missus 'ravaged' is equivalent... It's an analogy to compare loyalty, or lack of...

Anyway we're going around in circles.Let's just agree to disagree. Around 5 or 6 posters have now spoken about betting against spurs since my initial post and a few have agreed with you so it's not as clear cut as your brain has decided to dissect this information. Quit being so judgemental.

On Sunday I will be holding the hand of my dear mother in law who is in a care home in Brussels in her last days weeks. This helps me because I am so angry that our club is where it is. And those responsible should be held to account.

No hard feelings mate, I think the season has fucked us all up.
 
This season has left me in a state of shock, even by our standards.

I don't know what I'll do if we stay up. I certainly won't celebrate, but I've been resigned to going down for four months now . Staying up feels like a fever dream. Yet, even this now being the high bar leaves this all feeling a bit numb.

Everyone involved in football are untrustworthy cunts though. You have to remember that. Can't trust a word that is said, anybody's intentions or their ability not to chuck the towel in.
