Yes, a big wank.

I hate that I've become a bit of a recluse since Tuesday night.
Just couldn't face leaving the house yesterday and going to do the same today. Amazing how the time flies doing 500 piece jigsaws, eating junk food and watching reruns of Cheers and Grey's Anatomy.
The double whammy of that lot winning the league and not getting the one point has broken me. I'm just glad I don't have to go out and face anyone and I can wallow for a couple of days.
But I have to get my act together as tomorrow I'm at a birthday lunch for an old school friend and I won't have to talk football.
Dreading Sunday, can't wait for this nightmare of a season to be over.

Enough to make you want to jump out of a plane!

Business as usual; work, train, eat, watch a bit of Netflix and probably to the pub on Friday (with some friends who thankfully rarely talk about football).

I'm not all that emotionally invested anyway these days, if we stay up great, if we don't, we move on.

25 years ago this would've kept me awake, but the game has long gone with this whole corrupt VAR bollocks and full of unlikable multimillionaires who don't give a fuck, they don't deserve your attention to be fair.
That’s the thing that annoys me. Until about 2 or 3 weeks ago I could just switch off from spurs after a game.
I was against var from the start and from jose mourinho onwards I became emotionally less and less invested.
I can't stand any of our players and Im fully aware of the actions of our owners. Buildings and events first football an afterthought.

And still I can't stop myself from going through all kinds of scenarios on sunday. Then I get angry at myself and repeat cycle.

Anyway im going to the cinema today cheer myself up by watching Nurnberg 😜

I just wish I could fast forward to sunday.

I will take a break from all things regarding Tottenham after sunday no matter how it's going to end

Thinking about the fucking journey Sunday, up at 5-45am, get ready, leave house at 6-20. Then 20 minute walk to Bury tram stop, get the first tram out to Manchester Piccadilly which is about 25 minutes. Get the 8-20 train to London, tube to Seven Sisters, then bus to the ground. Then in the cafe near the C&Horses, then straight in the pub for quite a few beers to help me watch the horror show.
Probably won't get home until nearly midnight.
This fucking club!!.

Although, i am in the category of "football used to be so different, it was somewhere your mind could go to, to escape the daily shit/the daily grind" but now, and has been for so long, its more like a business, its a toy for people with money, plus all this VAR nonsense that was supposed to make the game better but made it more controversial. I am still thinking about Sunday, i am still thinking about all the muppets that got us to where we are now, in football terms Sunday cannot come quick enough, i just want it over with.
